I had to it last year in California. Its not that hard. Just flash back to your stock tune, put the stock cat back on, and maybe put your stock intake back on. The hardest part is the cat but its still not that difficult to do yourself.
how much did the car cost you when you bought it? Interesting to know how the price is different to other countries... im thinking of import from germany (i live in sweden) it is so hard to find 335s right now, not many out on the market. Also the 335s are cheaper in germany (bmw mecca i guess?)
@@NoKizzee well those gains are with the BM3 Stage 2 91 map with a highflow downpipe. If you do Stage 2 93 map with catless downpipe, youll gain around 70whp with 80-90wtq. Im now currently running E85 with the BM3 Stage 2 E30 map and now I've gained about 100whp and 190wtq over stock power at no extra cost. The gains depend on the map/fuel you use and if you do catless or highflow downpipe. However the price will still be pretty much the same
I’m not lying bro. From my understanding, FBO is a tune, Downpipe, chargepipe, intake, and exhaust according the the general consensus. Unless everybody I’ve talked to and all the research lied to me also.
@@InlineSixAuto Nope, you're right. FBO gets you to stage 2 (dp, cp and fmic). Above FBO is upgraded hpfp and upgraded turbo. Couple of parts aren't necessary but are nice to have (cia, catch can, upgraded ignition coils, lpfp, etc.)
Also don’t forget. Reliability mods such as upgraded coil packs and colder spark plugs!
Just did this to mine and gahh damn I was pry happier to get these done than my other mods just for the reliability for my DD
I got all mine for $850 total. The work was $400 sleep from a local mechanic. I live in Maryland
A race intercooler alone costs more than $850 including labor…
Working at getting all the same mods. Thanks for the informative vids!
WE HAVE THE EXACT SAME CAR!!! keep up the good work bro!:)
I already have Downpipe and tune. If I’m getting intake and FMIC do I need to retune? Or will the bootmod3 stage 2+ tune already know ?
Bootmod3 assumes you have a FMIC and intake on if you’re on stage 2. So if you’re already on stage 2 without them then you shouldn’t need to retune.
Is an inlet pipe worth it?
I Never got an inlet pipe. Never had any issues with the stock one. I'd say maybe its necessary if you're pushing high hp numbers like 500+.
Exhaust sounds great as is. Don’t ruin it. Burble tunes are trash!
Where can I get that front lip?
www.suvneermotorsports.com/shop/f30-jhp-carbon-fiber-front-lip/
California have Smog inspection every 2 yrs. I don't wana put everything back to stock. It not worth it for me.

How are those reflectors? I have a white f30 - was considering getting some white or smoked ones but the white doesn't look white so maybe the smoked
I like them. Adds a small dark touch so everything isn't so white.

About 50-60whp and 60-70wtq

No but im planning to soon here. Should of done it before going FBO tho
