In the series the red saree girl was just a teenager who got in trouble and ended up in police station. So she was pretending to be Indian to escape prison. In the series it is shown that she is not actually behaving Indian but just overdoing whatever she knows about India to make the police officers believe. So it doesn't seem disrespectful when you watch the whole episode. Their was no intention to disrespect neither was the girl representing India , she was just a troublesome korean teenager who was playing a trick and obviously overdoing it.The expression of police officer literally says " you are not getting away with this and in no way I will believe you are Indian with such a bad acting so stop doing this".

After all, India was colonized by the British for hundreds of years, so there's nothing to be proud of about that. Basically it is that half of the population knows Hindi whereas for other languages not more than 5% would be there to speak. So it is fair to say that Hindi represents India.

I hate how they let the stereotypes in instead of seeing how beautiful it really is. As an Indian, I can say not all woman wear sarees it's mostly only for festivals. Not everyone is dark skinned, it's diverse. Some people have and some don't. Curry is not as big as chapathi/rotis. I mean it is out, I would say chapathi is more commonly eaten. Not everyone speaks hindi, there are so many different languages, 22 official and 121 languages with 270 mother tongues. Marathi and Bengali are also speaker largely, why is that not show cased?
