Yeah, I know they're VERY different, it's just a flower with the dust of Asriel, but I like to make them like that.

Flowey and Asriel are the same being. It's just that since most of Asriel's personality is founded by his compassion, his Soulless state as Flowey tears down that compassion, not to mention the power of RESET gave him a god complex, and the trauma of being killed by humans because he didn't fight back brought his mentality of "Kill or Be Killed". "Flowey" is simply Asriel, who lost his compassion, and in his trauma and quest for something meaningful, had also lost his way.
