A close friend of mine Edward passed away a few months due to cancer and we would always play DMC3 alot when it first came out. So much to the point we would react all the fight scenes and Cut scenes nearly perfectly. He was never able to play this game but was really looking forward to it. I have only been able to play and finish this game for the 1st time yesterday. It was really emotional for me to play the game knowing my friend would have loved this......and then this moment, I cried with joy and laughter as this was our Dante being just Dante. Thank you Capcom for this moment this was amazing.

The ending is a whole, Dante and Vergil fighting along side each other in Hell, Nero took the torch passed down by his uncle, and took care of thing in Human world with Lady and Trish (those two now run Devil May Cry with Morrison). And if you count the menu scene as canon, those two is back from Hell and looks like things went peaceful, a really good ending for the series. And even if Capcom does make another DMC, it might take a while, and it'll be a start of something entirely new

If it ended right now, I agree it would end on ONE HELL OF A HIGH NOTE. That said, Dante is too iconic and CAPCOM would be hard-pressed to just shelf such a powerful IP... same can be said about Bayonetta: NO ONE was expecting a Bayonetta 2, and when we got THAT game many people thought that was it, too. But we got Bayo3 coming this year. Heck, no one even expected a new God of War game after GOW3 and we got the new Norse saga. So, yeah... so long as they have a good team behind it, IPs and characters are pretty much immortal.

Ha well if you set hat and press the fire button as Dante catches the hat, he does do a random MJ dance move and deals big damage to the enemy while pulling them to him. I always use it as an ender for the final enemy in a fight haha

Ha well if you set hat and press the fire button as Dante catches the hat, he does do a random MJ dance move and deals big damage to the enemy while pulling them to him. I always use it as an ender for the final enemy in a fight haha

DMC4 had those too, also i recently completed the game and you can get all the characters moves by the second playthrough. Just dont buy it and thats it, the game is fucking awesome and Capcom did an amazing job.

Can I just say how I love it is canon that Dante through either demonic means or he is just that powerful is able to manipulate reality? He did it with Faust, he did it with Nevan in 3. Any weapon that he gets like this he can just affect the world around him to show off. An its canon cause Nico acknowledges his BS while Trish ignores his BS.
