How dare you Trump? "Hogger is just a funny level 14 or 12 gnoll guy." Everyone should know that he is *A LEVEL 11 GNOLL, WHO BECAME A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME!*
+Jeppz Postman there is a german video/audio series (Allimania) where he takes over Edwin van Cleef´s job for a while until he imprisons Arthas and Illidan, gets to lvl 100, turns Deathwing into his mount and has an Army of Ninja Pandas and becomes the new Lichking .... all that becouse people always made fun of him and raids who failed would make fun Hogger raids where they beat him up with fishes and stuff... sadly his plan fails when the server gets resetet xD
Clearly you just need to put Leeroy in your deck to combo with cult apothocary. You can even use Brann to spawn four whelps and then heal for 16. Flawless plan.
perfect plan, also way to fit in the Brann synergy, very unique take on the card, using negative synergy and moving it positive. I bet that this combo will be op obv
My theory is that Rag doesn't like the idea of the old golds taking over his territory and would rather fight them than join them. Seeing as the paladins are the only ones uncorrupted, he went to them.
+giraton1 But he's the only one of the Elemental Lords who has been actively seeking to bring them back. He wants the Black Empire to return, and he wants it bad.
I think the issue with Cult Apothecary is the same issue with Tuskarr Jouster: you don't fuck with healing. You need to know that you're definitely getting a big heal. Flipping a coin for it, or depending on your opponent is just way too dangerous and doesn't actually let you play into burst range to then bounce again.
I love how even Trump can't get through discussing Tentacles For Arms without breaking out into laughter. You know it's bad when even Robo-Trump can't keep a straight face.
I actually thought of Sylvanas with the new mukla. Same stats for cost, but the death rattle steal a minion vs battle cry add 2 bananas to your hand. Sylvanas is way better imo
I would be happy to get my Skeram Cultist BGH´d, since my C´thun would be less vulnerable to removal. To me that makes Skeram already quite good in a C´thun deck, just for the fact that it is a decent enough body, that demands removal, which in turn makes it more likely for C´thun to live.
Ragnaos, lightlord represents what would exist had the old gods not corrupted the four elemental lords in ages past. Fire is a purifier, and has many holy facets in history, so this is also really flavourful
Ragnaros Lightlord doesn't say "random" damaged friendly character. I gather from this that you will be able to choose which one you want to heal, rather than "coin flipping" at the end of your turn. Thoughts?
+Kim Thisdale I watched it here at 1.5x and I still had to skip a bit. Trump seems to be getting worse at kinda getting stuck in a loop with some cards after he's already done stating all its strengths and weaknesses.
Cthun decks could be a gateway deck for new players to enter wild. A deck with cheap minions (crafting price wise) relying on one legendary that is given for free. The deck has potential to become a tier 2 deck in wild when you put shredders, belchers and other good stuff in it.
A couple things I would like to note: Mukla allows a cheap way to make a 0 Attack minion with a good Deathrattle be able to be played (well, relatively). Ragnaros, Lightlord is the god of Control. Any Aggro deck that can't pump out 8 damage to kill the Ragnaros while the Control deck's Hero hasn't taken damage will not be able to remove Rag from the board since he can heal himself.
+Winsane C. Also he's the only one of the Elemental Lords who was actively seeking to bring them back. The rest were just kind of "oh, you're trying to return? Well, that's cool, I guess" or downright opposing their return.
steward of darkshire won't work with faceless shambler or twilight drake, because their battlecries trigger before they are summoned, then they won't be 1 health minions (if you don't target a 1 health minion with shambler) right?
Tentacles for arms will be extremely good in the situation where you may only want to hero power that turn like when your in fatigue which isn't too uncommon and because it will never disappear you will only need a single copy
I love wow lore. I fucking love it. But people getting mad over cards with different lore in hearthstone literally have no base at all. It's a spin-off game, as if uther sending Illidan into battle isn't ridiculous, or a gurubashi berserker becoming more powerful than rag after being hit by 3 fireblasts. The most pointless argument, I swear.
my impression with Rag, LightLord was just that he was standing up to the forces that were once his masters. Also "Ragnarök" (the word his name was based off of) translates to "The End of The Gods"
I can't wait for the Trolden highlights of the crazy situations type of: You somehow make the enemy priest steal your Rag, Lightlord while he has an Auchenai on board. Then you control the board with taunts, etc. and make sure that neither of those 2 die and he doesn't damage any other friendly minion. If you previously dealt at least 1 dmg to his face - he is on a 3-4 turn clock to somehow get rid of one of his minions (or he would have to finish you off before that) or else he's dead. The dream has to be real at some point.
There's a similarish card in Magic: The Gathering to Tentacles for Arms, Rancor, which returnts to your hand once it leaves the battlefield. Considered quite good at one point because of that return effect. Not the same card by far, but just reminded me
ok... so let's tally it up. Cult Apothecary - bad because it's not as good as Healbot which was busted. Infest - bad because it's not as good as old Buzzard which was probably the most busted card in Hearthstone. Xaril - bad because he's not quite a 4 mana 3/2 draw two cards which would be utterly busted. Tentacles for Amaz - slightly better than Headcrack and Demon Horse which are garbage, thus is actually really not as bad as people think... Maybe you should stick with the Piano channel after all? :P
These cards are not bad, they are just mediocre. But in the world of constructed people dont even put mediocre cards into their decks which are just not worth a card slot. Cards played are usually good, synergetic or utterly busted.
Raphael Schwarz Yes I get that I just found it odd that even the paladin guy which I think is totally excellent is "not that great" yet the shitty sword that's never gonna see any play is somehow worth defending?
Regnor of course. paladin 333 guy was "fair" and "ok" but "wouldn't see play" and the shitty tentacles got almost as much weird awkward lawyering as cursed blade... Soft spot for shitty warrior weapons that noone likes I suppose :P
Scaled nightmare if you can buff it to 4 attack (to protect against priest pain/deatj) or just below 7 in general, it can't be targeted by bgh. Pretty slow but 8 hp means it has to be executed in some way or traded heavily.
+Nyanicorn must be weird to live with a brain unable to understand easy jokes :/ and you only had to check his profile to see zerofodao is a gamer not a piano player. Be more curious in the future mate! :p
Steward in murloc pally or a face pally with wolf riders, bluegills, abusives and lepers? Is that enough to make up for having a 3 mana card with no immediate impact on the board?
question: if steward of the darkshire is on the field, and you play hungry dragon, since its effect is "summon" a random 1 cost minion for your opponent, will your opponents minion have divine shield since "you" summoned it?
The way Tentacles for Arms is worded you might think Captain Greenskin would permanently buff it since it says "Return THIS card to your hand", but of course it actually gives you a copy of the original card. If you could buff it and just pay 5 to essntially give it more charges then it could be quite useful.
+Sawed Off Laser And they can't corrupt their servants? Maybe they just decided they cut Rag a bit too much slack and increased their influence over him.
+Skappy616 Why would they turn one of their most powerful minions in to a healer I mean... Whos the firelord now? We killed everything in the firelands I guess you could say he became a healer to heal all his minions in the firelands
Yeah he uploads them later than when he streams on twitch. If you want his opinion as early as possible, go check out his current stream or previous streams, but the RUclips version is edited and such
Wait, am I missing something? Ragnaros, Lightlord doesn't say restore 8 health to a /random/ friendly character. I'd assume that you get to pick where the heals go, which makes it a pretty fantastic card.
does Redemption (paladin secret, if ally minion dies, revive with one health) work with Steward of Darkshire? that could be strong with big cards (20/1 Divine Shield C'Thun?). of course, that could end up way too slow, but who knows...
I don't know when Ragnaros, Lightlord was released, but I get a strange feeling it was released on April 1st... Side tangent - I looked at the battle.net launcher News section, the battle.net website (oldgods.com redirects there), and I cannot find a lot of the cards announced. On the battle.net website there's a page specifically for all the cards that have been revealed so far, and that's missing like 70% of the actual revealed cards... What gives? Anyone?
1:00 I disagree with Cult Apothecary. If you're at the point where you need a heal, it's quite likely the opponent will have around 3 minions. In the specific example of the shaman, he's going to be constantly pumping out totems anyway, not to mention he WILL try to play any minions he does have. I agree it's straight up worse for healing, but you went overly negative on the assessment. ie, the *shaman* not having totems.
In a slow-ish control meta you might be able to get two of the dragons, two cold bloods and a conceal discounted by one and then do a combo on turn 10 that would leave you with 24 damage on the board next turn. Maybe miracle could make a comeback if aggro lessens?
+Klas . S I wondered, the same, until I thought how people would confuse both versions of Ragnaros, I think you are supposed to call Ragnaros the Firelord 'Ragnaros' and Ragnaros, Lightlord just 'Lightlord'.
+Leonardo Freitas Can u even look at it from a card advantage standpoint? This card will see value in a control warrior vs a control priest or an other control warrior... other than that, i dont see this card being usefull in any other match ups... but i DEFINETLY can be wrong here.
akhs denlew On practice, I don't think there's any matchup that Tentacles would improve, not even fatigue. But technically, yes, an unsilensable card that recycles itself definitely has card advantage value.
How does Steward of Darkshire work with Sword of Justice, does it only proc when u play it first and the the sword or does it proc regardless since it apparently also works with Twilight Drake?
isnt xaril basically like dark peddler? its both a 4 drop and a 5 drop in a lot of situations, plus it has the deathrattle. you might have to make your deck a bit more focused around making use of all the spare parts but its fine otherwise.
There's a card in Duelyst a lot like Shadow Word: Horror except with 3 attack, but it has a bunch of synergy with the class, and it's a lot harder to kill 3 attack or less minions in that game
How dare you Trump?
"Hogger is just a funny level 14 or 12 gnoll guy."
Everyone should know that he is *A LEVEL 11 GNOLL, WHO BECAME A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME!*

Ragnaros, light lord better say LIVE INSECT when he heals
Yes
+TheZshoes old joke is old
+Geo Noy u old
+Geo Noy how is this old ??
+TheZshoes How about instead he whispers: Live, vertebrate?
When new piano performance???
12:51 Seems like the stand against darkness is pretty small
lol.
+Luca Ciao lol.
Glad to have you back Trump, although I didn't mind seeing the occasional piano vid
8:24 oh no the edit didn't quite disappear.
+Antoine Bandele didn't know you played eharthstone.
I think he did that on purpose, cause it happened not only once.
What's all this hearthstone doing on this piano channel??
I dunno, it's really gone down in the dumps lately.
Trump need to stop ruining his channel with children games
+Mr.Cant a find a good channel name :/ 123 Dude it's a joke. You're missing it.
Steward of Darkshire + Noble Sac seems like it might be really good.
+Joe Blow It might be okay with Redemption as well, if your opponent cooperates.
+Weekenddrew New druid combo with innervate ?
My theory is that Rag doesn't like the idea of the old golds taking over his territory and would rather fight them than join them. Seeing as the paladins are the only ones uncorrupted, he went to them.
+giraton1 But he's the only one of the Elemental Lords who has been actively seeking to bring them back. He wants the Black Empire to return, and he wants it bad.

10 cards in hand + ooze remove tentacle for arms
K
It still triggers the deathrattle though
+Lemondude617 If you have 10 cards in hand, deathrattle cant add tentacle back into your hand due to hand limit
It returns it to your hand even if its destroyed by ooze
+Davide Colucci There is no card that can guarantee removal of TFA. You just mentioned a very specific situation
I love how even Trump can't get through discussing Tentacles For Arms without breaking out into laughter. You know it's bad when even Robo-Trump can't keep a straight face.
Why does Blizzard even bother putting in weak cards that will never see play?.
arena
To make good cards better
+giddy cypress Hilarity decks.
To fill the packs so you pay more packs.
Because weak cards need to exist
I lost it when he said "As the entire lore jumps the shark" about Ragnaros hahaha
13:36, 8:41, what is that card that is in the middle of the screen ?
+its a trap 13:36 looks a bit like Dark whispers when you zoom it in, not really sure though. And the card at 8:41 is probably ancient of lore
+its a trap stand against darkness...
Oops 13:36 is stand against darkness but 8:41 is definitely ancient of lore
i know
RIP Piano Trump, you will be missed.
Ragnaros being the light lord is almost like Prison Trump playing the piano.
What about scaled nightmare with inner fire
honestly, what about just blessing of might? or hoping for a xaril roll on the stealth part (40% chance)
+Petar Jovanovic -owl noises-
Are we done? :3 With the april fools? I still loved the piano stuff tho :) Feel free to do more of that ^^
Steward of Darkshire + Muster for Battle/Stand Against Darkness + Blood Knight. I think that'd be a funny combo.
Can i get the sheetmusic for this song ple.... wait whut wheres the piano?
Gul'dan was a shaman who became a warlock. I could see him becoming a priest or mage atleast...
+Draffut2003 Gul'dan be like "fuck it, i'm rerolling to a pally."
I'm already looking forward to this set rotating out in 3 sets time.
No! But the piano channel! You didn't even give it a chance!
22:02 starving buzzard is a 5 mana 3/2 not a 2 mana 2/1right?
+Gerry Nowak He showed the pre nerf buzzard which was a 2 mana 2/1.
" Steward of darkshire sucks "
I am 100% sure you will regret that
+Yagiz Tunceli I'm only 50% sure he'll regret it.
In arena it will be good.
+Mad Hatters in jeans Nah bro seriously this is one of the cards where everyone says it sucks, just wait bitchas
+Yagiz Tunceli
Paladin + this card+ muster for battle and with luck enough + draw Bloodknight = something like 15/15.
+HrothgarHeavenlight Just proves my point more, its so versitile
+Yagiz Tunceli lmao xD
Scaled Nightmare in Dragon Priest with Inner Fire?
Usually sits behind diffrent taunts anyway.
Or Dragon Paladin. 7 Mana 5/8 into 10/8.
+TheCoDzillaPlayer 1.Requires 2 cards. 2. No instant effect. 3. Dies to any hard removal. (+card disadvantage in that case.)
I actually thought of Sylvanas with the new mukla. Same stats for cost, but the death rattle steal a minion vs battle cry add 2 bananas to your hand. Sylvanas is way better imo
and that is why sylvannas ia one of the best cards
I would be happy to get my Skeram Cultist BGH´d, since my C´thun would be less vulnerable to removal.
To me that makes Skeram already quite good in a C´thun deck, just for the fact that it is a decent enough body, that demands removal, which in turn makes it more likely for C´thun to live.
Will you be doing a piano cover of this video Trump?
06:40 it can be played with Xnanil (i don't remember The name) for an extra chance to get stealth.
Please review Tchaikovsky's Capriccio next!
Ragnaos, lightlord represents what would exist had the old gods not corrupted the four elemental lords in ages past. Fire is a purifier, and has many holy facets in history, so this is also really flavourful
"Let's end at least on an awesome card!"
Goes on to tell us why the card is not very good.
+jk12324 He didn't really say it wasn't very good, he just said it wasn't fantastic but admits it could see a decent amount of play.
Ragnaros Lightlord doesn't say "random" damaged friendly character. I gather from this that you will be able to choose which one you want to heal, rather than "coin flipping" at the end of your turn. Thoughts?
Great job Jens, I watched this live and it was painful to watch.
+Kim Thisdale I watched it here at 1.5x and I still had to skip a bit. Trump seems to be getting worse at kinda getting stuck in a loop with some cards after he's already done stating all its strengths and weaknesses.
how come?
He kept rambling on about pointless things, he kept making stupid mistakes and so on. Jens did a lot of work on this one. A+
Cthun decks could be a gateway deck for new players to enter wild. A deck with cheap minions (crafting price wise) relying on one legendary that is given for free. The deck has potential to become a tier 2 deck in wild when you put shredders, belchers and other good stuff in it.
Where is my beloved Piano:'-(
@ 13:00 there is a tiny card hanging around
"TOO SOON! YOU RELEASED THE APRIL FOOLS JOKE TOO SOON EXECUTUS!"
Brode: "Eh fuck it , its an actual card now."
hahaha good one
hahaha good one
What would happen with 'Steward of Darkshire" on the board and "Sword of Justice" as a weapon? Which will trigger first?
where's the piano videos?
April fools
A couple things I would like to note:
Mukla allows a cheap way to make a 0 Attack minion with a good Deathrattle be able to be played (well, relatively).
Ragnaros, Lightlord is the god of Control. Any Aggro deck that can't pump out 8 damage to kill the Ragnaros while the Control deck's Hero hasn't taken damage will not be able to remove Rag from the board since he can heal himself.
Didn't rag get corrupted by the old gods already?
yes
Know he is corrupted by the light as if he's not lit enough
+Winsane C. All the elementals were(and some still are) minions of the old gods
+Winsane C. Also he's the only one of the Elemental Lords who was actively seeking to bring them back. The rest were just kind of "oh, you're trying to return? Well, that's cool, I guess" or downright opposing their return.
+Sir Crabsalot Al'Akir is for sure corrupted by the Old Gods, however I'm not entirely sure about Neptulon and Therazane.
I needed your wisdom on Hearthstone and couldnt find it in your Piano videos... I missed you SenPai -A random Pleb.
I don't know, I think the one that Disguised toast revealed is pretty good. You should review that one.
Don't even try.
steward of darkshire won't work with faceless shambler or twilight drake, because their battlecries trigger before they are summoned, then they won't be 1 health minions (if you don't target a 1 health minion with shambler) right?
That might not be the case with hearthstones spaghetti code, only time will tell I guess.
Trump's template: X card is Y , but not as Y as you think it is.
Tentacles for Arms *cough Justicar Trueheart for rogues cough*
Ragnaros, Lightlord *cough Lightwell cough*
But oh man I really want to brew a rouge deck with xaril, bran and raptor. oh yeah... VALUE
*VALLLLUUUUEEEE*
I see what you did there ;D
No, the minecart needs to be added first
no piano vid:(
B-b-but piano..?
Tentacles for arms will be extremely good in the situation where you may only want to hero power that turn like when your in fatigue which isn't too uncommon and because it will never disappear you will only need a single copy

That mini Ancient of Lore...
true
+Sajid Sheik I think he was talking about the editing error, but okay.
also true lol
+Sajid Sheik plus the flexibility of the heal, though that maybe matters like 1/20 times you play it
I can't wait for the Trolden highlights of the crazy situations type of:

Necro B Shhhhh, let's assume it happens in a rank 20 match...
MAGMA RAGER IS NOW BETTER THAN ICE RAGER CONFIRMED
Mukla is a beast too, it'll fit into Tempo Mage, Mid-Range Hunter, and perhaps the new miracle rogue. I'm actually considering crafting this.
Steward of Darkshire... Hey Rafaam! We have an answer for why we play Magma Rager!
I was just thinking that as well
There's a similarish card in Magic: The Gathering to Tentacles for Arms, Rancor, which returnts to your hand once it leaves the battlefield. Considered quite good at one point because of that return effect. Not the same card by far, but just reminded me

+Nyanicorn he was joking you Nurd
+Nyanicorn Didn't get the joke or trolling?
Well shit, I was joking too, and whoever tried to insult me from that, I applaud you.
Steward in murloc pally or a face pally with wolf riders, bluegills, abusives and lepers? Is that enough to make up for having a 3 mana card with no immediate impact on the board?
Magma Rager isn't that bad anymore, due to Steward of Darkshire :P

From a lore perspective, Ragnaros can't be corrupted, as he already serves the old gods.
Could he corrupted by sources outside the old gods?
+Sawed Off Laser And they can't corrupt their servants? Maybe they just decided they cut Rag a bit too much slack and increased their influence over him.
He isnt corrupted, he joins the fight against the old gods, so hes uncorrupted
The One True Kripperino But Trump mentioned that a corrupted Rag would fit better in the lore, that's what the comment was addressing.
+Skappy616 Why would they turn one of their most powerful minions in to a healer
I mean... Whos the firelord now?
We killed everything in the firelands
I guess you could say he became a healer to heal all his minions in the firelands
Guys how do I craft an Old Starving Buzzard? That card seems really good...
Seeing old buzzard gave me nightmares.
Can someone explain to me why trump mean by rotating out of standard?
+kevin lin Hearthstone is removing naxaramas and goblins vs gnomes from standard.
aren't these cards from like 10 million years ago?
Yeah he uploads them later than when he streams on twitch. If you want his opinion as early as possible, go check out his current stream or previous streams, but the RUclips version is edited and such
+Parsa Khani and also it takes him about 10 million years to go through 3 cards on stream
+redryan20000 wispers of the old cards.
Wait, am I missing something? Ragnaros, Lightlord doesn't say restore 8 health to a /random/ friendly character. I'd assume that you get to pick where the heals go, which makes it a pretty fantastic card.
Ragnaross the Lightlord better say "Live insect" when the effect triggers ...
Nice one
+littlebigminer1 except when he heals himself.
does Redemption (paladin secret, if ally minion dies, revive with one health) work with Steward of Darkshire? that could be strong with big cards (20/1 Divine Shield C'Thun?). of course, that could end up way too slow, but who knows...
ye it does
thats pretty heckers then
What? April Fool's is over, Trump. Stop with the Hearthstone, on with the piano!
I don't know when Ragnaros, Lightlord was released, but I get a strange feeling it was released on April 1st...

tru. but now we have to chose healing vs board clear, instead of board clear, then heal next turn
BRING BACK PIANO TRUMP! WHY IS THERE HEARTHSTONE CONTENT? D<
oh well, at least trump kept the new channel pic XD
Wouldn't drawing a card be valued at 2 mana since that's Guldan's hero power? Or is there some other base for the 1-1.5 mana value?
Steward of Darkshire meet Magma Rager
What does he mean by Tentacles for Arms blocks your weapon slot??? You can play a weapon if you have one equipped already. Is he talking deck slot?
I want Piano
I want to try new mukla in tempo mage. It might not be good, but I want to try it.
WHAT IS THIS!? THIS IS NOT PIANO!? :P
In a slow-ish control meta you might be able to get two of the dragons, two cold bloods and a conceal discounted by one and then do a combo on turn 10 that would leave you with 24 damage on the board next turn. Maybe miracle could make a comeback if aggro lessens?
why did they put a ',' instead of 'the'? it looks stupid
+Klas . S I wondered, the same, until I thought how people would confuse both versions of Ragnaros, I think you are supposed to call Ragnaros the Firelord 'Ragnaros' and Ragnaros, Lightlord just 'Lightlord'.
so a 20 mana 2/8 weapon is a value play now?
+ali kebab From a card advantage standpoint? Yes. From a sanity standpoint? No.
+Leonardo Freitas Can u even look at it from a card advantage standpoint? This card will see value in a control warrior vs a control priest or an other control warrior... other than that, i dont see this card being usefull in any other match ups... but i DEFINETLY can be wrong here.
