They say being a DM is like herding cats for a reason: Last game I DM'ed the guys where all over the unimportant details to the point I started avoiding any precise description unless it actually was important. They listened to those descriptions attentively and asked good questions then focused on the smallest unimportant details that I put in just for filler and wanted answers.

Insight in to how Rob infuses real languages into fantasy ones was pure genius. I never would have thought of that. You are a true master of the craft Rob.
This series is the reason I'm starting a dnd campaign with my buddies. Thank you all for showing me how fun dnd can be by just goofing off the whole time!
I often revisit the campaign I wrote so long ago and wish I could re-do it now with all the inspiration I got from this amazing series and mostly Rob's DM expertise.

I think it's a case of intentionally forgetting. It sucked. It messes with the pacing of the show and it's not really very powerful since it's a similar creature and is basically a heal spell on the enemy. Once bodger realized that it went by the way side. And rightfully so, the ability is a massive newb trap and, this is an entertainment show, so screwing up the pacing of battles is a dumb idea.
I'm not sure he doesn't realize it? Adam just talks and interrupts so much and has to be the center of attention that he steps on everyone. If he tried to talk less and didnt feel like he had to be involved in everything the other characters would have more room to play to their strengths. Like bodger, just asking zaza for a magical item as a socially inept barbarian for a joke. And IMMEDIATELY Adam has to jump in and also ask, which isn't funny, kills the pacing, and undercuts the funny joke that just happened. (Yes I'm getting tired of the way baradun is being played).
When bob said they were going to set up their own poker table, the transition from laughter to desperate crying from Rob was the highlight of the episode.
THIS episode is my new favorite! So hilarious. Almost all of the moments are gold. LOL. Rob's desperation and the way they tried all those NPC's patience. 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I see Rob channeling his urgency to have the gang on the "bean" train track through Roedelin 😂Even going as far as saying that "I'm worldbuilding, ignore what I'm about to say. FOCUS ON THE BEANS!"
Bodger should keep in touch with his new friend. He could write him letters. Even better, have Baradun message into Zaza's head and shout into Baradun's mouth about his hammer.

What an amazing and proper episode. Rowan finally being able to play Zaza, the childish display of great power during a fken dinner for the elite, the dickheads crossing the border wearing THE turist outfit while Bob was as armor clad as always, the story strongly moving forward with this new (for the lads) arc with the giants and an amazing cliffhanger (hehe) Love seeing you back!!
I love Rob playing ZaZa, that potion bit was the work of a cheeky genius. The first 5 minutes of this episode honestly was so good. from the bean eating last ep to the fog cloud then the potion of light healing(from zaza) to the magic missiles to blinding bodger....... sooooo goood!
Strange to include unfinished greenscreen footage in the 'previously on' section even though there were genuine backgrounds and effects in the last episode.

Once again, thank you so much for recapping events. Sometimes there is such a cacophony that I can't make out what's going on. Recapping really helps to keep viewers on board and even clarifies jokes. So... please don't stop doing that.
Don't laugh Rob! I promised myself I'd finish reading each LotR book before I watched the films when they came out. I'd of already bought the ticket to two towers and there was such a mass of people in line, I had time to read the last few chapters. Turns out Shelob wasn't even in two towers! Oh man, that was like 15 or so :D
I just noticed that Roedelin blinks rapidly after Greg casts Blinding Heal near him. Excellent attention to detail there, Rob. I love the random bottles of booze on different tables in the background, and the amount of alcohol on the table directly behind Roedelin. After two weeks with BatDH, they knew they'd need it!

I really would love to see someone make a Best of-video with the highlights of every character cut together and the best table interactions. Don't laugh Rob! I promised myself I'd finish reading each LotR book before I watched the films when they came out. I'd of already bought the ticket to two towers and there was such a mass of people in line, I had time to read the last few chapters. Turns out Shelob wasn't even in two towers!

I love the random bottles of booze on different tables in the background, and the amount of alcohol on the table directly behind Roedelin. After two weeks with BatDH, they knew they'd need it!

I really would love to see someone make a Best of-video with the highlights of every character cut together and the best table interactions.
