- Join me on another wild camp . We set up camp next to a lighthouse at St Johns point . With crashing waves and the sea breeze it was a brilliant night.

Great stuff. My old man is from Killough, about 2 miles around the coast, so I know St John's Point very well. Rossglass, another mile or two in the other direction is a magnificent spot to see the Mournes from too - if you get a sunny day, the tide in, and you come over the Quarter Hill - fabulous.

The Mournes is usually my first go to and more recently with my daughter too but this has given me ideas.
Cheers matey. Yea the Mournes would be my most visited area to camp. Trying to mix it up more this year with different locations and this is a good choice . Would be great with kids as there's no walking involved. Thanks for watching mate
@@jamesoutandaboutn.i227 Yeah, I know that feeling, regarding the walking. Exactly what I was thinking. The furthest I have got my 6 year old to hike so far with camping gear is the summit of Hen.
@seanbranagh you should check out rams Island. Great spot for kids to feel like a wild camp

Nice one again mate , brilliant footage of the lighthouse like , looks a mint place to camp , so is wild camping allowed where you are mate and I know the feeling pitching the p2 if it’s not exactly level they don’t seem to sit right but there great tents mate ,anyway good to see you out n about again ,atvb Deka 👍🏻👊🏻
Cheers matey. Yea it was a brilliant spot. I don't think wild camping is allowed in most places . But most of the time there's no issue as long as you're not partying and leaving a mess it should be sweat. Yea once the p2 is pitched it's brilliant

@@jamesoutandaboutn.i227 is that the mini 4 pro or the mavic? Is it the 249 gram drone? I have the dji mini 4 pro and you seemed to fly yours in decently strong winds, how does it fair?
It's the mini 4 Pro. Only really started using it but so far seems good in the wind
