    good comment about what makes for production.. tools and supplies set up and ready to go is where it becomes a simple project to patch a door. Even the old timey method would require already super sharp chisels, etc.; otherwise you would spend as much time sharpening tools as you would chipping out wood.

    Yeah, it’s kind of nice when you have skills like that I’ve been in the construction trade for for 25 years never really got into the restoration side of it

    I use the super glue method with my CNC machine. I put the painters tape on my spoil board and on the back of the wood/material that I am going to CNC and then glue the two non adhesive sides of the tape together to hold my material down to the spoil board on the CNC machine.

      try spectape ST-501, way faster and less mess, barely thicker than masking tape
