I’m curious, did they give you headphones so you could hear the mix? Side stage/on stage is the worst place to be if you want to hear the concert as everything is projected out in front towards the audience. Still would be an amazing experience though! Thanks for the video
That makes a lot of sense :) There was a large speaker next to us and he asked me if I could hear it OK through the speaker. I thought he was being sarcastic because I had ear plugs in but the mixed audio was coming out on that large speaker right next to me. I only get to concerts maybe once every three years or so and this was my first on-stage. It sounded great. The audio in the video is the raw recording from my cell phone without any modifications or enhancements.
wmx99 May I ask how much the ticket was?
@@russellcarter6451 It was $544.95 USD before tax. That was for the VIP Platinum which is on-stage the entire set and a meet and greet. I talked to some people on twitter having to pay over $600 for the VIP Ultimate which is on-stage for one song (the last song of the set) so apparently I got a deal. :)
wmx99 that would be totally worth the money for that kind of experience. Some get to brag that they were front row, but how many get to say “yeah, well I was on stage with the band” lol.
@@russellcarter6451 lol yeah, I didn't even know they offered such a thing. I saw they were coming to town and grabbed one about 5 months in advance come to find later they only sell 10 of those spots. It definitely was an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend it. For the other bands you even get a fenced off section up front so you don't get mushed against the gate like in the main floor area. :)

I don't think so, he was out of breath halfway through the concert and you could tell. There was a mixdown speaker right next to me so we could hear all the instruments on stage. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
Hmm. Maybe they ran his voice through an AVP1, then, because there’s no way that his voice sounds that mechanical naturally.

Because I didn't record the entire song. I recorded various clips but being on-stage I like to experience it "live" too and not through just the phone. :)
