Norway: Into the Arctic 4K

- A few months ago one of my best friends says, "Hey, flights to Norway are really inexpensive. You guys want to go?” After pondering this for 15 seconds I said yes. From there friends were added, an additional flight to the arctic circle area of the Lofoten Islands was planned and many cameras were packed in bags. Here you will find 3 minutes distilled from over six and a half hours of real-time footage I took. I couldn’t stop filming. It was one of the most epic trips of my life. The most beautiful place I have been on this planet so far. We got back less than a week ago. Even though I’m jet lagged still, I knew I had to get this out there right away. So hope you enjoy! If you haven’t been, go. If you have been, you know. Hopefully this inspires you to get out and travel more! And to all my amazing friends that made the trip what it was: Where’s next??

This is priceless work! From the cinematography, Foley artistry.... The breathing along the water sweep. Wow!!! This inspires me to really take advantage of my drone. This is one of my favorite drone videos. You are great with transitions!

This is easily my favorite drone video of all time. A lot of other videos had components of this video, but the way this is shot and edited, and that includes the song choice, makes it just better than all of them Well done and thank you!

Hi. I visited Lofoten last year too, but in winter (early February). Mostly took photos, I'm not much of much of a videographer, but I'm returning this February and your video really inspires one to try and film! Especially since I've got a tiny flying comanion now. But to get your kind of quality results - that will take much more experience :) Really well done!

Sinc eI wrote this, I have been to Lofoten and returned with some footage. I will try if I can get a result out of it but it's actually not that much (in terms of variety and length).

as this is no action video, a few of the scenes are too short.
at 1:50 I see some interesting devices on the corners of the roof, can anyone explain what that is used for or is it just decorative?
I assume that You refer to the brief glimpse of the medeaval wooden stave Church? The function is purely of decorative nature then, and made in the same tradition as the bow decoration of viking ships. Just an old tradition.

I've been to both a few times, Iceland is amazing. Norway, however, is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

I just got back from Norway and did a similar one but a very different style.
Question, did you have any issues with the temperature? I took my Phantom 4 up Gastatuoppen Mountain and it wouldn't take off!

This is double letterboxed on my 3440x1440 ultrawide screen. Can you please fix this because the visuals are otherwise amazing.
When you watch this video on a ultrawide 21:9 monitor, you will get black bars on all sides of your video because this one contains hardcoded black bars on the top and bottom.

Beautiful, but i cant imagine living there. So cold, and dark. No wonder they have such high levels of depression, and its no wonder Scandinavians love to travel so much...
HIgh levels of depression? Hah! Norway is one of the happiest countries in Europe, because when you're all rich, healthy, educated and free from religion you live a happy life. We travel because we can, our jobs pay high wages and plenty of vacation days to see the world.
