I like how Mirio character was built, he wasn't made there to be someone for Deku to surpass, he truly was built as a character that was going to be the #1 hero, way ahead of anyone else.

Deku was given a Quirk and a mentor Mirio was born with a Quirk. And his mastery of it made him the number one student in the school, and possible number one hero of the pros. I always forget how hard this went and why I always return to this 4 years later. There was something special about Fabvl's early anime songs. They just hit different. I don't think it's just nostalgia
