Haha thanks! Yeah they're really my favorite videos to make as well. So cool to see the results of everything you've done in the year 😁. Oh yes I have looked into it for sure, I know there are some great results coming out of Aus at the moment. I just don't know enough yet to start investing in their market, I want to learn a bit more. But it's definitely on the cards for 2024 😁🙌
@@CasualCash awesome I can't wait! Yeah I've invested in a few things in the Australia market and they've done quite well, but would be nice to learn even more! Thank you for your videos, I learn a lot! 🙌
I am a recently new investor and been investing since May 2023 and been following your advice and stocks bought since then. Thanks for the great advice and content.
Please make a video on tfsa on easyequities (what happens in the event of death) what happens to the account and how best to work around that situation
Anyone watching this video just something to think about. Easyequities allow you to invest offshore. Why would you want to invest in South Africa stocks? My balance after 2023 was roughly R 800 000. I started with R 270 000 beginning of 2023. Research US companies, do your homework but focus on offshore, you most likely already have a RA or pension that is invested in ZAR. If I am missing something please let me know, but I cannot see the upside in investing in ZAR
S.A stocks got better dividend yields and higher growth potential.. USA stocks have little dividends and since their companies are already big, there's little room for growth.
Hi Chris. Ive been analysing the spreadsheet of your PF that you shared. I would like to set up a similar one. How did you calculate the Dividend% column. Ive been trying to figure it out but cant get to the same % that you have displayed on your sheet. And also... Is the dividend amount reflected on your spreadsheet after the witholding Tax or before? Thanks for you videos.
The dividend amount is after withholding tax. And the dividend percentage I just got from Google finance. Keep in mind the Div % changes every minute and every day as the share price changes, so it will never be a fixed amount. 😊
Aww fetus Chris 🤗🤗 You've come such a long way man, and that young genuine passion is still here 😀 Congrats on reaching such amazing investment milestones! 🥂 Edit: stop teasing us with that mystery share bro! 😊 When does the contract end so you can spill the beans 🤭😅 jk! (I'll try to secretly figure it out, but won't be a pain, promise!) Happy holidays!! xx 🥳
Hahaha, it is crazy to look back over 10 years and see I was still talking about the things I'm talking about now. Grateful it's been such an enduring passion of mine 😊 Well, in saying that, I may likely be able to reveal within the first few months of next year 😊 happy holidays to you too 😊
Yes I absolutely do 😊 it is on the Casual Cash Club as you heard about in the video. Once you've joined, just go to "collections" and "documents" and it is there. And remember there is a 7 day free trial, so it won't cost you anything to go in and grab the Excel sheet for yourself 😊
I'm very new to investing. I invested in EE stocks and properties earlier this year, thought I'll give SB a try(I have not received the R100 though). Lets see how this goes
Thanks for this very informative video - I wanted to ask is there an option or a way on EE to pull a dividend earnings for the year? Or have you done this all manually?
Really glad you enjoyed it 😊🙌. Great question, there isn't a way to pull a dividend report on EE. Unfortunately it is all done manually from using the transaction history on EE and tracking it on Excel sheets. I think it would be so helpful to have that, but they don't. If you use a website like Simply Wall Street and put in your portfolio info there it can calculate the dividends for you. Unfortunately (especially if you've invested multiple times in the year) it is quite time consuming to put in all the data. But otherwise, you have to do it manually 😊
Very interesting, what i would like to know is how this income you earned affected you annual tax. Im looking to focus more offshore to try get a better net return.
It just goes into your normal taxable income bracket. But on EE they deduct the tax right away from the dividends 😊. Offshore in my personal opinion is the way to go 😊
My problem is that I have multiple income streams and that I'm avoiding 0:10 to have a investment where I need to pay tax according my marginal tax rate.
We unfortunately have to input that manually, as EE doesn't offer that kind of analysis. But if you want, that spreadsheet is on the Casual Cash Club. With the 7 day free trial you can access it free of charge if you want, and put in your own shares and it will calculate for you 😊
Hi there 😊 At this point I am reinvesting my dividends. Luckily I do not need them at the moment. So while I am able to, I reinvest them back into either the same shares or other shares 😊
I have got a video on the channel called "These shares pay monthly dividends". But in my portfolio they are the Prescient Income Provider, Realty Income, JP Morgan Equity Income and the Global X Nasdaq 100 😊
Hint: It starts with an 'O' & it was trading at R8.61 on one of the days in October.😂 I've also left a hint within the hint itself.😂🤣. 1 more hint: It trades above R9 as I'm writing this.
My apologies if this question has been asked : Are you relocating your whole portfolio to brockstock or you decided to stick it out with easyequites (fees)
is DCA'ing investing/buying the same amount of shares every month/week? Or is DCA almost like if for example, I buy a R1 share this month (or week), then R2, then R4, the next week/month, etc??? (And will buying extra shares outside of DCA like when dividends get paid, mess up the vibe I'd potentially gave going with the above eg.??) But congratulations on your portfolio my guy! That's impressive!! (Brockstock looks promising AF but I'm gonna wait till you've used them for at least 6 months before I decide to invest there🙈, gonna keep what id potentially wanna invest either in franc or in my tymebank account until then 😅) And I like how the app looks, almost like how RobinHood and those other US stock apps look from videos I've seen😅😅 xxx
So dollar cost averaging essentially just means to space out your investments so you are not caught out investing a large amount in one day, and it happens to be the wrong day. So that can mean once a month, or once a week, or I know some people who invest daily. And it doesn't necessarily need to be the same amount either. It is just about spreading risk. So it can be the same amount, or just similar. No it doesn't mean R1 then 2 then 4. Just a similar amount 😊. And using dividends is absolutelt fine, that is what I do as well. Its not strict how you do it, but the idea is now to invest 1 big lump sum and have it be on the wrong day. 😊 Absolutely. I'm enjoying Brokstock, their team has been really great and some nice new features coming to the platform next year. You don't have to, but you could even download the app and register (without depositing) if you just want to test it out and see how it looks and works. But otherwise yes, can definitely wait to see how it goes. Of course 😊🙌
I love these end-of-year portfolio breakdowns 😅
Me too 😄 they're my favorite to make as well! Glad you're enjoying! 😁
can you please help us with sars🙏🏽
from EE statements & uploading em
Such a quality video! I am always excited to learn more from you. Please do another full year breakdown in 2024😁
I absolutely will do 😊 Plan to do them every year. Thank you so much, really glad that you are enjoying the videos 😊
Dude this is what I've been waiting for!! Love these ones, glad you go into so much detail. Have you looked into the Australian market?

Do you publish a template for the spreadsheet with all your investments. Looking to use one for my portfolio as well.

Regarding the summary table at the end, is that something that we can download from EE or do we have to input the info manually?

How to create easy eaquity shares
What shares pays monthly dividends peeps?
I have got a video on the channel called "These shares pay monthly dividends". But in my portfolio they are the Prescient Income Provider, Realty Income, JP Morgan Equity Income and the Global X Nasdaq 100 😊
Am I allowed to disclose the "Mystery share" since I don't work there?😂😅
