- Emotional moment as Kevin Sinfield carries Rob Burrow over finish of Leeds marathon
Kevin Sinfield carried Rob Burrow over the finish line at the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon after pushing his great friend and former Leeds Rhinos team-mate for 26.2 miles on Sunday.
With just a couple of metres left to go, Sinfield lifted Burrow out of his specially adapted wheelchair and the pair completed the course together in an emotional conclusion at Headingley Stadium

Disgraceful how the event staff literally pushed other runners to the side / very rude.
What Kevin is doing is great, however, I was more upset that he picked up Rob like a helpless person. To me, Kevin took away any dignity, respect, independence from Rob by carrying Rob across the finishing line. It seemed it was more about Kevin himself.
It would have been more honourable if Kevin pushed Rob across the

They both planned it before the start of the race
