V4 😂 I agree on all points with you but a 4 cylinder car is just called 4 cylinder, not V4

Ford did actually make a V4 at one point. Saab ran it in the later Sonetts. But the argument of "at least it's not a 4 cyl" is contradicting his hate for V8 guys saying "at least it's not a V6." This kid needs to be consistent. People who base their car decisions on cylinder count are willfully ignorant, and I would say not real enthusiasts. It's just a different experience; any engine can be built for more power if that's all you care about, and personally I don't think power is what makes a car good. And when it comes to power, the Ecoboost and V6 Mustangs have more than enough power in stock form that can realistically be used on the street, so unless you're racing competitively at a track and want the highest-power starting platform, I think the engine size argument is pointless. In my opinion, given how much the cars weigh, the V6 and Ecoboost Mustangs make a great amount of power in stock form for a properly fun sports car. You want another pro-4/6 argument? Assuming the suspension setup is the same as a V8 car, the cars with the smaller engines are naturally going to handle better because they have less weight over the nose.
The Ecoboost, by the way, is nowhere near its potential. First of all, it's a single turbo, not twin. And when people build engines for big power on 4s and 6s, they tend to stick with single turbo setups. Twin turbo is more common with 8 or more cylinders, if we're talking proper drag builds. But you don't just bolt on more turbos when you're trying to go faster. You build the engine to handle more boost, and you increase the size of the one or two turbos already on the engine. Look at the faster JZ Supra and RB Skyline builds; they're mostly running big single turbos on their straight-6 engines despite coming with two turbos from the factory. Even Honda drag cars these days are reaching up to near 2,000hp out of a 4-cylinder that was never turbocharged stock. And nobody but RUclips dorks are putting multiple turbos on a 4-cylinder.
Sorry for the essay, lol, but cars are life.
