Ben's laugh after the Jesus Cucumber joke was ICONIC. I want that on loop forever.
Agreed!!
Rachel's comments while editing and subtle jokes make these videos so much better than they already were 😂 Thanks to our unsung comedian!
I love how everyone had to dress nerdy except for Ben. He dressed like Ben.
They're synonyms
Lol, that's what I meant ;)
When Jamie kissed the nose of Mike.. That's what we call Friendship mate that's we call Friendship.. 👌
Amazing episode with full of laughter and Science, looking forward for more..
96% Jamie stole the show..
+Sortedfood Btw, I've a request regarding mystery box. If you guys would do a Ramadan Week or Eid Week then you can have variety of food to try show us all from around the world (20 days to go for eid).
"When Jamie kissed the nose of Mike." That was my favorite part.
Ben's laugh is precious and must be protected
Ben is finally learning how to say "sesame" after his intervention session.
We'll get there. Slowly...
Jamie is too precious for this world.
JT McAwesome-Face - he's 96% dead cause of our sins. Such a trooper.
Being a scientist and working in a lab, I find this week highly unrealistic: nothing went wrong, you got the result you WANTED and you were HAPPY in the end! As great and cool as science is, you send the wrong message to a bit more inexperienced people out there
And I absolutely loved this week! :)
JustNormalCrazyMe Just curious- what field? (if you don’t mind me asking)
The best results come from failure :)
Right? And they didn't even break something!
its not unrealistic becuase these processes are already tried and tested therefore there is nothing very extraordinary or different happening
This whole video is just Ben being a 🎶Super Geek🎶 😂
Jasmine Ø so true 😂
Jasmine O 🎶 HE'S SUPER GEEKY🎶
Jasmine O HES A SUPER GEEK, SUPER GEEK
I didn't think this would get so many like omg thanks guys 😂😂❤
This is the first time I've heard Ben laugh that hard and it was honestly the cutest thing ever 😂
"Jesus invented the raising agent." 😂
Elizabeth Heyn if jamie is 96 % jesus
he invented 96 % of the raising agent 🤔😜😂
Ben's laugh at 10:59 is magical lol
haha Love how everyone else have their (Nerd)glasses on and then Ben just have his own... gotta Love Ben.
Insider note - he actually refused to replace his glasses with our ones!
He probably likes to be able to see what he´s doing. Also: this video made me realize that I really like Ben´s glasses.
SORTEDfood k7 o, ,
Ben's delayed reaction/laughter at Jamie's cucumber-Jesus joke was adorable!!!
Brownie point to Rachel for that quick shot too Jamie at the end.
I don't get how people can hate jamie XD he makes most of the videos funny.
After a rubbish 24 hours here in the UK, this video has cheered me up no end 😊 cheers lads 👍
This was the best episode in a while! Thank you for the great humor and honest reactions. It was wonderful laughing with ya'll.
Jamie... baking powder is made up of bicarbonate of soda and cream of tar tar. Bicarbonate of soda (aka baking soda) is an alkaline and cream of tar tar is an acid. When you add it into a batter, and energy (basically heat) is applied, it reacts and produces carbon dioxide. And also dextrinization is when starch turns into sugar (dextrose-hence dextrinization) and caramelises.
96%...that's the best joke Jamie ever made
Ranya Putri thats an old joke actually but who cares
And its not his own. So sad.
Ben's laugh at the end got me to smile. Please laugh out loud (literally) more!
Just as a note Jamie... CO2 solid (dry ice) going to its gas form isn't a reaction, it's a phase change. If you wanted to get even fancier, it's actually a "sublimation" which means it forgoes the normal order of solid-liquid-gas and goes straight from solid to gas!
Did I see a blush at Mike's face after Jamie kissed him on the nose!!! You guys are too sweet!
>Ben's lack of arm muscles
Uhh excuse me?? Have you even seen this man whisk
Ritte, that's why they all laugh.
All in the forearm.
i love ben's laugh, i have never seen him so happy
This was surprising helpful as I have my GCSE Food Technology exam tomorrow and I was answering all the food science questions with Jamie! Thanks 😆
I’ve been spending my Winter Break from teaching doing some Sorted bingeing. This is definitely one of my top 5 faves!
Jamie singing "Ignition(remix)" 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
so fantastic to see the guys having fun and laughing in such appealing times. laughter is what we need right now.
Wow you guys really had the giggles in this one!
Maybe the beer was stronger than we thought...
Love baked alaskas! I remember my mom doing this at our birthday parties as a kid. She now puts ice cream in the oven for her grand kids.
awww Jamie kissing Mike on the nose at the end was so cute, boop ^_^
Jesus can walk on water
I can walk on cucumbers
Cucumbers are 96% water
Hence, I'm 96% Jesus.
Jamie, your logical fallacies really amuse us.
I laughed the whole existence out of my body when he pulled that.
At least he presented it in a nice syllogism? ahahaha
I see humor as the borderline between science and art.
All jokes works for someone, and some jokes that works with everyone, but all the jokes would never humor everyone.
And the borderline is quite blurred because I just realized I have no idea what I'm talking about.
That joke is so old
I can walk on ice, ice is 100% water
I can't get enough of Ben's laugh when Jamie made the Jesus joke. I should loop it and set it as my alarm. It's just so good.
I just realised that I want this for my current friends. lifelong bonds 😭😭
Covalent bonds or ionic bonds ?
Ben’s laugh is too adorable for words. 😂
Mike's laugh is what i live for, honestly. It's so contagious!!
Guys. This week was hilarious. Much needed laughs!
So glad to see that you are all well and safe....
I have never seen Ben laugh like that omg 😂 Jamie may be 96% Jesus but he is 100% hilarious
this is one my favorite videos you guys made. after binge watching your channel for the past week, i couldn't believe why you guys don't have hundred millions of subs.
Thanks for the hard work and entertainment! All the love! :-)
That little boop on the nose is sooo cute!!!! 😍
I’ve watched a bunch of Sorted videos, but this is by far the funniest 🤣. Jamie was a comedic genius this video!
Loved science week! Me being a biology major and seeing everything I learn in class being applied to cooking is amazing. Thank you!
Loved science week! Is there any way of doing another one?
I'm sure this won't be the last of it!
Ben's laugh after Jamie's jesus joke was the most joyous thing. Brownie point well deserved, Jamie!
one of the BEST big night in episodes!!
Jamie's remix to ignition made my day 👏🏼
As an aspiring molecular gastronomist and hardcore chem nerd, this video makes me happy
"Now this is the remix to ignition...hot n' fresh out the kitchen." xD This song is now going to be in my head for the rest of the day, I hope you're happy.
One of your best vids, bang on.
Cheers
This was one of my favourite ever Sorted videos! Laughed so much, cheered me up so thankyou.
This is by far one of your funniest situations EVER!! SO many elements just made me howl!! Thanks guys 😎
This is my favorite episode EVER & I've seen at least 99% of your videos. lol. You 4 are amazing together. Jamie did the real work in this one 😂😂
that kiss was so precious.
Jamie singing Ignition is one of those things I never asked for but am so thankful I got
I'm pretty sure this is the best video on the entire channel.
Jamie deserved a brownie point for the best joke that has ever been in a Sortedfood video
I love this week's theme and can't wait for the next one. You guys are seriously putting in a lot of thought into these! Keep it up. :)
prayers to London
Thank you ❤️
Guys, loved the show!!!! You're awesome! After each Sunday episode I find myself thinking: that was the best one!!! Thank you, guys!!!
I love the "S" in the corner of the vocab paper. As a certified geek, I used to draw similar infinity signs or even neverending chains of them on the sides of my maths notebook pages. Since it is fun and easy to do on squared paper. Just a little touch of extra geekiness there, leaves me to wonder who added it.
Oh and I always put dry ice from chemistry lab into my drinks. Fast and easy carbonated water.
this is by far the funniest video in a long time!
10:59 ... that laugh. Ben should have a brownie point just for that.
please another one of these!!! Jamie was hilarious i want more science food!!
the bants were 10/10 in this one
Without Jamie. Sorted Food would be 96% more serious but boring :D
I *think* I'll take that as a compliment!
SORTEDfood 😂😂😂😂
this was just super entertaining to watch, not solely because of the
recipe, but because of all the laughter they shared. and Jamie's joke
was just over the top :D haha
"What's up everyone? Welcome back to my laboratory! Where cooking is number one priority!"
I UNDERSTAND THIS REFERENCE!!!
My Food Trek boomm
BOOM!! SUPER EASY!!!!!
What is this from? It sounds really familiar... Like, if it had a distinct Russian accent that made the entire sentence difficult to understand, that would sound REALLY familiar...
xXHydroDragonXx it's the crazyrussianhacker
Yum, love sesame ice cream!
Mike actually look good those glasses.
Science week has been my favourite yet. Would love to see a pt.2!
I must say this is phenominal! Job well done guys, this was very scientific yet incredibly creative
I laughed at blowtorchation or whenever Jamie said 😂😂
"Jesus can walk on water.
I can walk on cucumbers.
Cucumbers are 96% water.
Therefore, I am 96% Jesus."
This concludes my weekly dose of Jesus 😂
Elizabeth Heyn actually it's only 96% of your DRV of Jesus
Where did you get the other 4% ? XD
10:59 Ben's laugh gives me life
In the moment of Ignition when Jamie becomes R. Jelly I hit that LIKE button as if I passed out on it. God bless 🙌🏼
Ben's laugh at Jamie's cucumber joke is so adorable!
Probably one of the funniest episodes I have every watched! 😂😂😂😂
would never have thought of sesame ice cream-matcha baked alaska-yum!
Best Big Night In video EVER
Love it when you boys go off on a weird, random made up story! Best video so far definitely x
Oh my god Ben's laughter was adorable I can't
I'm just gonna leave this time signature here for the cucumber joke and for you guys to loop (if you want) Ben's adorable laugh. Forever will stan him. ❤❤❤
10:43
This cheered me right up! Thanks, guys!
I plan on trying that sesame ice cream recipe. Right away.
Ben's laugh might be the cutest thing I've ever heard.
that was the most epic science Jamie brought to the table :D
Man, these episodes look like so much fun to film!
Don't forget about Mastication, the act of chewing
I think this is one of the funniest episodes you guys have ever made. Loved it.
Also let Jaime live in the apocalypse, he has a wife and daughter!
2020 and I'm missing big night ins!!!
That kiss was the sweetest
OMG Jamie that song is ace!!!!! 😱😱👌🏻👌🏻😝
You know what's great? If you listen hard enough to the background music, at about 6:44 in the video, it changes to the looped intro of Am I Wrong by Nico and Vinz, which is when Mike starts talking about how Jamie was being reminded earlier in the week that he'll have to be talking about science in this video and this music doesn't stop until Jamie says a wrong science term at about 8:32 (nervation - which to my knowledge isn't even a word). 😂
He gets a Brownie point for that little kiss!
"Jesus can walk on water, i can walk on cucumber
Cucumbers are 96% water, therefore im 96% Jesus"
10/10 IGN: Such Science, A+ on paper
Why did i think of Love Island when you said "on paper"
omg!!! matcha, sesame, and baked alaska--how does something get any better than this??
Thumbs up just for Ben's laugh at Jaimie's cucumber joke. That was hilarious.
Well Jamie, since you asked...
200. g C6H12O6* x (1 mol / 180. g C6H12O6) x (6.02 x 10^23 molecules** / 1 mol) x (1 grain / ~2.0 x 10^17 molecules***) = Approx. 3,344,444 grains of sugar. Thanks for indulging my chemistry nerd side!
*from the recipe
**Avogadro's number, very useful in stoichiometry :)
***I had to look up this value, but because the mass of a single grain of sugar can vary, this is likely an average or an approximation. In a perfect world I'd get the mass of a countable number of grains of sugar to calculate their average mass, and then convert that mass to molecules of sugar, but I don't have a scale at home.
Big Night In on a Tuesday, that was interesting.
So much science.
Now I want dessert.
Black sesame ice cream is amazing! I love it! There are even certain times of the year when, in China, McDonald's does it with a black sesame cone. lol. ATM, China Starbucks has a black sesame sponge/ black sesame mouse/ black sesame buttercream cake. Delish!
i forgot how WONDERFUL this video is! top 5, after the red shorts, camping and food in a car
