- I am back at the best place in the UK to ride a bike…Dyfi Bike Park!!! Make sure you like the video, comment below and subscribe to the channel so you stay tuned for the upcoming videos! Cheers
Just done most of slab track, coming back with armour to do the rest later! What a track!
DYFI Bike Park looks awesome! nice riding mate 🤘
Thanks man
That slab trail looks next level - would love to give that a try one day!
🙌🏽🙌🏽
It's noticable the agility of the bike is still really surprising you. Talk about it after every wiggly section and at the same time, you seem far more impressed with high speed sections than you are on longer, more stable bikes haha. Must be a fun ride!
Yup it’s fun as!!!
"I'll go steady'ish"
The biggest lie in MTB history 😂
Absolutely pinned bro 👊
Haha big up!
Awesome video man footage is crisp, I was twitching for ya going through slab track though. Forget that!
Thanks haha
Great Riding and Dyfi is such an amazing place and pretty brutal! As Bikeparks go it's one of the best in Europe let alone the UK !
Thanks
noice video sir keep it coming, generally rocks slabs when wet, almost unrideable in downhill, tires can bearily grip.
Thanks!
Please tell me Gavin and tommyc have hooked you up a coal bike, so you can get off those plastic bikes and on to real metal
I think I’ll try one at somepoint!
Crazzy😅
Loving the footage but what happens at the end of the slab track? It seems to cut to another track before we see if you make it!
First time at dyfi last week and it's an awesome place, broke my hand and did my AC joint but I'll be back. Never attempted the slab track as we advised not to given how wet it was
Great to ride ‘on board’ in those conditions. That frame’s interesting. Your ability to buy a few frames to explore the market is a break through. Tommy’s Coal seems interesting and possibly rides similarly? Still hoping you choose to try the new Orange multi link and get a chance to buy a big Atherton (the 170?). In fact, why not hit up Joe Nicklas (sales and runs the demo business there) or Gill Harris (head of communications) for a demo day - other ‘well-knowns’ have managed that with a bit of YT footage arriving here as a result…😢
Yeah I’ll entertain riding the coal for sure! I’ll maybe do those! Thanks dude
wow, looks like you were really stocked to ride it and had a great time!
wonder how you like the RS coil compared to DVO :)
LOVE DYFI!!!
ayooo nice video :) and btw what action cam are u using ?:))
Cheeers. Osmo action 3 Dji
@@LewisBuchanan nice nice
Great quality audio and video
Thanks! Good to hear
hats off to the guy who faceplanted 🧢
Hello ! What is your camera setup ? It's look so sick !
Cheers from france for your insane content
Thanks Roman! This is a Dji osmo Acton 3!! I love it
What is that rattle coming from?
🤷🏼♂️
Some say The Slab makes grown men weep 😅
Correct…and it did exactly that 😂😂
@@LewisBuchanan I dont think I've ever seen you go that slow on piece of track that is more flat than steep - it looked like ice 😅
Tom and Lewie! YEAH BOIS! :D \m/
Yewww
@@LewisBuchanan YEEWWW!!!!
(Beavis and Butthead headbanding) 😆🤘
Now i have smth to watch while repairing my bike.
😂🙌🏽
Sick
🙌🏽
That evil is dialed
🙌🏽
this bike must be quite different then the norco range which grew in turns
Very diff
@@LewisBuchanan the norco is propably better for highspeed stuff and straitline speed isnt it?
The slab looked like glass .... must have been insanely slippery
Stupid slippy haha
bonne session bon bikepark
🙌🏽
Amazing runs
Thanks!
Great to see. Dyfi is my favourite place to ride. I don't think Slab Track is getting ridden as much - looks a lot rougher these days. Was there a couple of weeks ago and the steep rock drop into the 90 degree left hander looked unrideable on my son's GoPro. Kudos for getting down it as smoothly as you did. Then you're straight onto the slab...
Thanks! Glad you find it awesome to ride also!!!
Wich Rotors do you run with the Hayes Dominion? I Love those brakes🎉
Hayes 203mm
Great brakes
@@LewisBuchanan do you want to try 220 Rotors from other Brands? With the trp you Had 220 Rotors, right? Unfortunatley Hayes does Not have this size. .
im shittin myself just watching.
It’s a gnarly place at times
If you come across sheep like that again mate, dont chase them. :)
😊😊😊

NAW
camera ?

Dude you must have been F-in BLASTING that big step up/table top with the taller lip in the first few minutes of the video. Seemed like you were up there for a few seconds haha. The INSURGENT has some serious pop and agility for a longer travel coil sprung bike in my opinion..
Cheers man, enjoying these videos of you on the EVIL!!
Thanks so much! Epic week coming up of riding abroad and cool video dropping tomorrow! Thanks for the support
I'm all in on the short chain stay gang. My homemade 242mm travel DH bike has 416mm chain stays. Steel front end with a Santa Cruz Bullit gen 2 swing arm.
🙌🏽🙌🏽
I would have needed extra shorts for that. HUGE step up- thanks for posting sick content!!! Lovin it
Thanks! Glad you like
Lewis with the shorter chainstay your rig smashes through them berms. Looks amazing. Good work. Ross 👍🤘
Thanks!!!
Sick edit 🔥🔥Absolutely flying pal ,looking forward to more 👌
Thanks
Really like the concept to beef up a enduro bike with Dh fork
What travel your are running in the front and how u have chosen the sag in front and rear ?
Front 200mm rear 180mm I think. Sag around 22% ish…
Aptly, I think "way more flickable" is a tagline on an OF ad.
😂
How did the slab compare to Black at Glencoe or Fort Bill DH track? 🤔
More difficult than glencoe black and fort William I’d say
Bloody hell. That Slab…
LETHAL
Maybe a shutter speed change needed? Sick riding tho
30fps! Cheers
Impressive, what a 166mm bike can do
🙌🏽
Weapon. Looks like the insurgent goes good 🤘
🙌🏽
How does the evil feel suspension wise? Mostly plush, but also supportive for the bigger hits?
Not so supportive in bike hits, quite easy to max out the travel in the rear. Maybe a stiffer spring was needed
Big*
I'm older and don't like to leave the ground but wow what an awesome park. Lol
🙌🏽🙌🏽
Have you ridden Dyfi? I’m old too and avoid gaps these days ‘cos the bones brake much more easily (I’ve found 😂), but there are hardly any actual gaps there and a lot of the big jumps have two ramps, with the easy one shaped to land anywhere your courage allows, including no jump and keeping your ‘pace’. THE most progressive park in the U.K. to spend 2 days at!
Chasing sheep down wet shale on a cloudy day is peak wales MTB.
Hahaha yes
