I still can't believe this got done. Looking at the aerial video of the engineering and planning involved for one single multi-use interchange with tunnels, grading, and viaducting is just amazing. What an engineering project!
It is so incredible to believe that not even 20 years ago, this beautiful line wasn’t even a concept. Yet here it is. If it was a government project, there would still be studies that would have to be done.
Great footage as always. I've said before, but I really hope the station in Cocoa is a two-track station with platforms able to access both (like a two-track island like Aventura) so they can make clearing trains through it and onto the Cocoa to Orlando run cleaner.
Amazing to see the train going faster than the cars.
Nice to see that the "wraps" don't cover the windows, as I believe the first one did.
Man I remember when they were building this line!!! Great video and the line looks amazing!!

Great video. I can't wait until that line is double track, and Brightline to have additional coach cars to accommodate more passengers.

im not gonna lie ive missed being able to log on every week and see a new construction video, but this is still cool to see!

Thanks for the nicely shot video! The lighting and colors, especially at the start, are excellent. Make more, please!
Thank You!
Thanks for the update; surprised that all the earthwork and associated ground cover has recovered so quickly; like it never even happened.
Another great video, excellent aerial shots, thx for sharing Austin!
Awesome
Crazy how this was once a construction project not too long ago.
I liked watching the speed difference between road and rail, esp around 4:40.
My friend told me brightline is going to have 7 coaches in the future. When are planning on adding more coaches to the train?
The first additional coach should be added to the trains later this summer with more to come over the following year.
Any idea when the 5th car will be added to each train?
Later this summer
Nice catching the trains meeting each other. Was that intended or just luck?
Luck
Has ridership grown on the line?
To the point that each train is going to be expanded to 7 cars over the next year to meet demand.
Great video! Also any updates on sunrail/new brightline stations coming soon?
My next Sunrail video should be out sometime this week.
I'm assuming you're using a mavic zoom. Looks absolutely stunning.
Nope, I just film at a high enough resolution so that I can do all the zooming in post production without degrading the quality too much.
Did you get permission to film this? You are literally inside the surface boundary of MCO's Class B airspace.
Yes, I had the necessary clearances
