@@LiktechTz They didn't call him the number 1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja for nothing lol. It's both his personality not to study the "refined" ninja skills AND his fighting style to not be versatile. Other bruisers in the show like Rock Lee or Choji are the same way, they punch real good and that's about it. Its also a common writing thing to have brains brawn and a specialist who mostly stick to their one thing. All the ninja squads are built like that and Kishimoto flat out says it.
Now Naruto is a sneakily intelligent bruiser because we see throughout the show that he can strategize as well as just about anyone during a fight. But there's a reason most fans make fun of him for learning about 5 moves and spamming them the entire series lol. Not Kakashi's fault Naruto couldn't/wouldn't learn more lol

I just don’t like how curse mark was taken. It was a massive nerf or depower (new word lol) with white snake sage. On top of the future ones like: rinnegan, ems, moon seal. Potential ones like Tobirama’s soul jutsu? Hashirama’s special gift, the Hashirama arm. New rinnegan (sharing chakra with Naruto). Juubi as he could’ve just absorbed it when he went to Ishiki’s dimension. Instead of letting him get juiced up.
These fights really show how shafted Naruto was when it came to teachers. The second anyone actually bothers to teach him something, Naruto makes drastic leaps in his abilities. Jiraiya teaching Naruto the Rasengan made him able to catch up and arguably surpass Sasuke before the retrieval arc. Unfortunately then Jiraiya taught Naruto basically nothing during the time skip. Then Kakashi finally decides to do his job as a sensei and actually teach Naruto about nature transformation. What happens? Naruto creates an S-ranked forbidden jutsu that even the 4th couldn't do and takes out one of the more powerful Akatsuki members by himself. Then he learns from the Toads of Mt. Myaboku and becomes a monster in combat.
True, meanwhile Sasuke gets training from Itachi, Kakashi, Orochimaru and Obito, and they all give him significant buffs (besides Itachi who was just “training” with him as kids but even then it gave Sasuke a head start that Naruto didn’t have)
Naruto could barley keep up with a Sasuke who just got out of a coma and was still recovering from his mind rape despite Sasuke being out of it for a month while Naaruto was training.
Naruto didn't defeat Kakazu alone. He came at the end of the fight after he got his ass beat by Kakashi and the others. Naruto then just throws a nuke at him and he dies.
He also only created the S rank Jutsu by training years via clones and using 5 handsclones to make the Jutsu.
The training trip shows Naruto actually sucks ass as both Gaara and Sasuke became Kage level and Neji a Jonin while Naruto was Chunin level.

No, the only thing the training trip showed is that Jiraiya didn't go about training Naruto well. I 100% believe that Naruto from the last beats Sasuke. Only because Naruto gains a whole other half of the nine tails. I just don’t believe Sasuke could make up that difference in just a few years statement or not.

I think he trained whit his rinnegan, kurama at the final battle says that he whas starting to get used to his new awakening Rinnegan, we see that because he just use Amenotejikara 2 times in that fight (In kirin and swaping whith true seeking orb), i think thats the thing that whould put them in the same level, or he still has some of the chakra of all of the tailed bests (Sorry about the inglish)

So Sasuke had every advantage possible he could get against Naruto in their last fight, yet he loses, but then later he's stronger than Naruto because a novel says so?? That doesn't make sense to me. And if we're going by the sentence "kakashi's strongest student" well that doesn't mean much really because Naruto was more of Jiraiyas student than Kakashi's. Kakashi barely trained Naruto except helping him learn the rasenshuriken. Kakashi spent more time teaching Sasuke the chidori than he did with Naruto. Kakashi really only had 1 student, and was babysitting 2 others if we're being honest.

Naruto won because of specific circumstances. Obviously Naruto wins with the summon. But gamabunta wouldn’t help him in a fight against Sasuke. Without gamabunta Naruto loses the fight. Just watch the video properly.
A small push back against The Last victory for Sasuke.
Kakashi trained Susake much, much more than he did with Naruto. In all truth, Naruto was more of a student of the Pervy Sage than Kakashi. Kakashi saying Sasuke was his strongest student isn't really taking into account that Naruto was fighting against someone who was cutting the moon in half and throwing chunks of it at the planet. I think Naruto would have won a fight against Sasuke at that point only because he has no feats beside that single statement on his side.
That's kinda true , Naruto would be more " jiraiya's students" than kakashi. Kakashi only helped with rasenshuriken .
The very least you can't say that Sasuke wins that fight based on a loose statement.
Just because Jiraiya trained naruto more than Kakashi did doesn't mean he isn't a student of Kakashi. Kakashi was teaching naruto how to walk on trees, he told Naruto and even demonstrated how naruto can use shadow clones for training, he taught him about nature transformations and helped to incorporate that into the rasengan to creatd rasenshuriken, all of that is what Kakashi taught him as he studied under Kakashi so he is Kakashi's student and the statement about Sasuke being Kakashi's strongest student does indeed include Naruto.

It's safe to say Sasuke is Kalkashi's ONLY student, therefore the strongest.

As always key details are omitted, they have to be, when hyping Naruto above Sasuke. Kakashi trained them equally til the exams. Where Sakura failed & Jiraiya took charge of Naruto telling Kakashi to focus on Sasuke (chapter 143, pages 3-8). Soon after Tsunade returned with Sakura choosing to train under her. He didn't abandon anyone and the shadow clone trick Kakashi told Naruto allowed him to make years of progress within a few weeks. Quickly learning wind style, RasenShuriken & Sage Mode.

@@Paradoxikality the way they covered it didn’t really make sense to me. All they said was sasuke is faster than naruto and should be able to chidori him and that’s it. Even tho, it clearly wouldn’t be that simple cause sasuke wouldn’t go straight for chidori in character and naruto would probably have 100 clones out by the time sasuke whips out chidori in a fight between them. Like he did with gaara, sasuke, in character, would probably go for multiple chidori attempts in the fight and end up burning himself out and the curse mark would put such a strain on his body once he drains his chakra, that he wouldn’t be able to move, the same way he couldn’t against gaara. I think the way they analyzed this clearly had to do with bias. They point out in-character actions for some fights but others, they clearly choose not to over analyze in order to give sasuke a clear W.
In the last movie: Naruto gains a new arm (made with hashirama cells), the other half of Kurama (5 bijuu at least worth of chakra), and an extra couple years worth of training.
Sasuke: Is still down an arm, and no longer has the nine bijuu supporting him

If sasuke actually used rinnegan like it’s supposed to be used then he would whoop up on naruto relatively easily, but he’s never actually shown to use it to its fullest capability which makes no sense considering how smart he is.

Madara got nerfed that’s pretty obvious. Urashiki even if filler lost to 2 kids. He had multiple rinnegans (blue, red and gold). Momoshiki doesn’t use anything except sucking and spitting etc.

Wrong. Sasuke defeated Gaara Twice. Once in the Chunin Exams then in his Half Bijuu form. He then collapsed from exhaustion because unlike Gaara he cannot refill his Chakra. When Naruto fought Gaara he spent chapters getting his ass beat until he used power of friendship and made thousand clones and finally was able to hurt Gaara. Hell Naruto was so scared of Gaara and tried to get the matched stopped because he thought Gaara was unbeatable. Naruto is nowhere near as strong as Sasuke in the Chunin exams.

@@lolcall5295 Sasuke and Gaara Clashed, Sasuke overpowered him and ripped through his Arm therefore Sasuke was stronger. Healing doesn't change the fact that Sasuke overpowered him. Furthermore, Sasuke beat him so badly in the Chunin Exams that he passed out and had to be save by his Sister to recover only to lose a second time from a tired Sasuke.
Naruto used Kurama Chakra to Summon Gamabutna.
Unlike Naruto Sasuke was bodying Gaara without a random Friendship boost. Before it Naruto was legit getting his ass beat for i swear 4 chapters without getting in any hits. Sasuke did way better than Naruto.

@@zecikk_5651 also sasuke literally does have as much chakra as kcm naruto. He literally matched his chakra levels with Amaterasu. He doesn't have as much chakra as kcm 2 though
I think one difference between KCM1 and KCM2 that people don't mention enough, and just why Naruto gets so strong so fast, is that Naruto gets KCM2 when he befriends Kurama, and he isn't using most of his chakra to suppress Kurama, and based on Kakashi's statement, Naruto essentially gets 25x stronger just by that fact alone

So not only is naruto no longer expending chakra to keep the 9 tails suppressed, he also isn't wasting chakra on taking the 9 tails power either.

I need way more argumentation on why Early War Sasuke is superior to KCM Naruto.
Naruto's sheer speed and power just seem groosely more than Sasuke's Susanoo could handle, that add with clone tactics and Rasenshuriken.
The Itachi example doesn't sit right with me cause Naruto was trying to have a conversation and not actually subdue Itachi. Itachi also is in a state that's so much more optimal for his ability. He doesn't have Ninja-aids and has infinite Chakra.
I genuinely think Naruto just stomps again and again once he gets to KCM and further forms.
Naruto by that point Is faster than V2 cloak Raikage, and can fight, all battlefields at once. He is just overwhelming.
His best asset is Sasuke's weakness, he outruns him every time.
I agree. KCM naruto was doing some ridiculous shit in the early to mid war. His clones were fighting Kage level opponents and winning. I just don’t see how EMS Sasuke can keep up with him.
Also, Naruto JUST sent out DOZENS of clones to the battlefields that he would otherwise be able to use against Sasuke.
Naruto's speed are resolved amps. They only come up when he has to protect his comrades. Against Sasuke, it's nothing.
Ok compare kcm naruto with gai and kakashi vs obito to EMS sasuke and itachi verse kabuto and the rest of EMS sasukes feats throughout the war, if it’s kcm2 naruto swipes but EMS vs kcm1 that itachi was man handling sasuke wins

The only time I genuinely felt Naruto would win and was concerned for Sasuke was when Sasuke lost all his power ups to Itachi and Naruto gained like 5 more. Even then it was said his chakra was stronger in BASE than his curse mark state 2 which is a sage mode.

Just wanna point out that in a lot of the head-to-head fights Naruto and Sasuke have, Naruto is prevented from winning through plot reasons because it would prevent the plot from happening. A good example of this is the first Valley of the End fight in which Naruto absolutely curbstomps Sasuke when they're both fighting all-out, but Naruto refuses to fight at his best in both the beginning and end of the fight and so he loses. In their final all-out attack, Sasuke goes for a killing blow while Naruto simply tries to damage Sasuke's headband to send him a message, because in the end he's not trying to hurt Sasuke, he's trying to help his friend, and he realizes violence isn't doing that.
Similarly, in the rooftop fight when they first use their signature moves on each other, it's interrupted just as Naruto is about to straight 1shot and probably kill Sasuke. There's a whole big reveal moments after the fight that Naruto's rasengan was actually MUCH stronger than Sasuke's chidori, which is arguably the thing that drives Sasuke off the deep end to begin with.
Point being, the plot constantly makes it look like Naruto can't beat Sasuke when he actually can. He just doesn't WANT to, and on top of that, the plot itself doesn't want him to. I would honestly say that Naruto either ties or takes the win at pretty much every point starting from the rooftop fight, save for their reunion at the beginning of Shippuden in which Sasuke had obviously received much better timeskip training. Aside from that one scenario though, Naruto seems to keep up with or outpace Sasuke at every point past the chunin exams.
Frankly, even before that, Naruto destroys Sasuke at any time if Kurama is brought into the equation. Idk why you're saying it "doesn't count," I think all the people he bends over with it would disagree. Honestly the fact that he effortlessly pushes Haku's shit in after Sasuke gets finessed moments prior says enough. If you put those two at full power, there are VERY few scenarios where Sasuke actually wins and honestly a lot where Naruto absolutely destroys him.

Except you can argue that it wouldn't be in character for Naruto to go completely 100% in a fight when that means using Nine Tails Chakra while Sasuke would absolutely spam and use his Sharingan/Curse Mark as much as possible.
This is anti Sasuke propaganda. Sasuke was much stronger in the first valley of the end fight, Naruto only starts to challenge him when gets a rage amp and 9 tails power up that he can’t control. Sasuke had multiple chances to take him out earlier than that, and Sasuke was the one toying with Naruto in the beginning of that fight. Sasuke had the upper hand, and was still getting shots on Naruto, even with his 9 tails amp.
Same with Haku, Sasuke is carrying for the entire fight, Naruto gets a temporary rage power up from the 9 tails that he can’t normally access or control, and Haku on top of that even let’s himself get punched, and that punch was not what defeated him. He also spares Naruto and Sasuke multiple times in that fight.
So in part 1, Sasuke is pretty consistently stronger except for some times when Naruto gets a 9 tails power up, which is not in his control and hard to access. And even then Sasuke is still able to take him with curse mark.
Rasengan having more power than chidori, and Sasuke being insecure about that, doesn’t necessarily mean Naruto would win a fight or is overall stronger either. That narratively was meant to imply that Sasuke needs to leave the village to learn stronger techniques.

My one problem with judging first fight in tht Vally of the End is that in that fight Naruto starts from position of relative exhaustion. He has been chasing Sasuke all day and fighting numerous ninja including Kimimaro, while Sasuke was morphing into his 2nd stage curse mark. So while Sasuke wins this fight, I would argue that he is in generally better shape at the start of it, and in the end it is pretty equal, so this possible imballance might have influanced the outcome

I mean it would have been nice if they talked about feats or abilities at all with The Last section. There are plenty of times during these fight analysis videos that people don’t just take explicit dialogue like “Oh he’s definitely the strongest” at face value but were happy to here.
Really it’s just that meteor feat compared to EVERYTHING Naruto did throughout the movie so it feels pretty lazy or disingenuous or whatever to just be like “Well they said he was the strongest student, so he wins!” When you have everything Naruto did compared to everything Sasuke did and it seems like a clear win for Naruto. 1. “He was doing better” is arguable, Naruto was doing better at the time, but that was after Gaara was already SHOOK by Sasuke and running away from him for the entire fight.
2. Sasuke being surprised at Naruto’s strength doesn’t mean Naruto is stronger. Sasuke is insecure about Naruto catching up or surpassing him, that doesn’t mean everytime Sasuke worries about it that Naruto actually did surpass him.
Naruto was too scared to even fight base Gaara with Shikamaru by his side. He didn't think any of them could beat Gaara so he vouched for Kakashi to stop Sasuke's match. Then became jealous upon seeing the results (chapter 114, page 6). Under normal circumstances Sasuke was far above. In the Forest Naruto had temporary friendship (creating 1000 clones which he never does normally) & Kurama amps. While Sasuke, with no rest, fell short having reached his Chidori limit. In full health he'd have one more which would have finished Gaara as the prior Chidori left him defenseless.
Gaara was literally going to kill Sasuke until Naruto came in. Gaara was regenerating and draining sasuke so easily that fight was pretty much written as an endurance battle and sasuke did not do well whatsoever once Gaara kept going more into his Bijuu. Sasuke was only beating base Gaara. Naruto in base came in clapping Bijju Gaara so 😭 and he beat him. it’s insane to ignore that

Kakashi could have showed him a ton of jutsu to copy in Part One. Then he trained with Orochimaru, whose ambition is to master every jutsu, for 3 years. EMS Sasuke would have no problems with anyone he faced pre-war (aside from Tobi). Especially with the Curse Mark (Senjutsu Susano).
He conveniently lost his sword right before he fought Naruto (fell in lava) despite always having post time skip. He lost it just for that fight seeing as he got a new one & always had it after. Said swords easily pierced Juubi Madara & adult SPSM Naruto. With teleportation he can dodge every attack and have Naruto hit by his own moves (RasenShuriken, Bijudama) by swapping with them at the right moment.

Regarding the Five Kage Summit, I think it’s totally fair to include Naruto’s feats against Kurama, since his strength wouldn’t have increased much, if at all from his fight with exhausted Sasuke. And if you include that Sage Naruto… then I don’t see how Sasuke could win.
Naruto should be far too offensively powerful for the Susano’o to withstand. In terms of Sasuke’s speed and attacks Naruto has both the Sage Mode Speed Amp and the sensory capabilities. And while he can’t enter a true Bijū Sage Mode, he can still draw on Kurama’s chakra while in Sage Mode, like we saw with him glaring down Nagato. It isn’t the War Arc Stuff, but it’s a possible thing for him to pull out.

By the 5 Kage Summit Arc Naruto might be able to make more than 3 SM clones. Even with 3 including himself that’s 20 mins of SM beatdown potential. Sasuke was half dead after a 10 min battle against Danzo who never really hit him. Naruto’s summons totally outclass Sasuke’s hawk plus the ultimate Toad Genjutsu is also an option.
Naruto's feats against Kurama are not simply sage mode. It's a sage mode with no limits due to him constantly gathering nature energy due to not actually being moving at the time. Basically infinite chakra.

Senjutsu Chakra is composed of the correct combination of Natural Energy, Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy. Meaning when you use Senjutsu Chakra you’re also expending your own Chakra. Being a Sage doesn’t mean you have extra chakra, just that the Chakra you do have is now significantly amped.
By adding a third external source of energy, even if all 3 were perfectly equal in their ratios (which, we're given pretty considerable indicators that ratios are jutsu dependent in the first place, not purely equal), that's still a 50% increase in chakra. You are still expending some of your own chakra to do what you do in sage mode, though significantly less than you would need to without sage mode.

The result is clear and evident. Both clash with their full power final moves. Sasuke emerges Victorious. Naruto at multiple points in the series himself says he lost that fight fair and square. As for Itachi. Obito clearly states Itachi let Sasuke win. Sasuke himself knows later Itachi let him win. Itachi himself acknowledges the fact that he planned the entire battle and let Sasuke win.

Naruto threw the fight but not intentionally. No way chunin exam finals go to Sasuke. Sasuke did ok against one sand arm Gaara, but when Gaara pulled out the sand tail too Sasuke struggled to keep up with him. Then Naruto comes in and kicks away Gaara moving at top speed, even after Gaara pulls out the second sand arm he wrecks Gaara with shadow clone trickery and then completely bullies him after getting properly Motivated TM. Motivated Naruto even made Sasuke outright poopoo his pants there.
Sasuke loses badly if Naruto is motivated and even worse if he gets chakra from Kurama.
This is a good point about Neji and Lee I think gets overlooked. They showed literally everyone else react to Lee taking his weights off in shock and awe but didn't show Neji react AT ALL. They don't show Neji react to Lee until he opens the 4th Gate. That's when Kishi shows Neji react in shock. This is clearly supposed to indicate that weightless Lee is a non-factor to Neji.
1. Naruto can't summon Gamabunta on a regular basis let alone get help from him.

Maybe someone can clarify this for me. I was under the impression that KCM 1 and 2 were distinct from each other with the difference being that in KCM 1 Naruto has to shelve his own chakra and rely only on what he managed to tear away from Kurama during the Tug-of-War, and without Kurama's cooperation there was a danger of Kurama taking his chakra and killing him if he lost control. Whereas with KCM 2, Kurama is willingly donating his chakra to Naruto allowing him to use his own alongside it, and with no danger to his own life, hence why it's sometimes called KLM (Kurama Link Mode).

I think one overlooked thing that complicates a lot of the early fights is that Naruto could theoretically summon 2000 clones, and I don’t see those versions of Sasuke dealing with that. But Naruto’s clone capacity is kinda inconsistent especially that early.

I think you should have mentioned naruto’s increased skills during the chunin exams fights too. his skills with the shadow clones in both should be noted as pretty impressive in terms of faking out opponents and coordinating. Not just “high chakra reserves” only.
And in addition, sasuke explicitly was impressed and concerned that naruto may have even surpased him during the fight with garra where HE was disabled.
also, I dont think the period when sasuke was disabled by the curse mark during the chunin exam should really count, since its not him at his nominal strength at the time.

Naruto doesn’t have any notable feats against pain lol. Pain was weakened the whole time, wasn’t going for the kill, and was wasted a ton of chakra using that shinra tensei to blow up the leaf.
Naruto needed a kyuubi boost and still lost. Minato also had to randomly show up to stop Naruto from removing the seal which would’ve killed him. Naruto barely managed defeat a chakraless non bloodlusted tendo pain.

There's no indication that sasuke could suppress the 4 tailed cloak on naruto. We don't know the limits of that suppression. I may be wrong, but i believe in the chunin exams final, sasuke is only as fast as weightless lee, which neji is still faster than (again, please correct me if im wrong). So if that is correct, saying sasuke is flat out faster then naruto there i believe is slightly disingenuous. Both lost but Naruto seemed to do better . Also at this time Sasuke gets paralyzed when the curse mark takes over. And Naruto didn’t even use the 9 tails chakra. Sasuke while faster and better at Taijutu at this time doesn’t have the stamina to keep up that speed . I think with the 9 tails it would be too much
Yeah, but you’re only going by statements and feats. If you look at both fights (Naruto vs Neji, and Lee vs Gaara), it’s obvious that weightless Lee is faster than Naruto using that Kyuubi chakra because it isn’t a full Kyuubi amp. Neji was able to react to Naruto’s speed, perfectly counter the attack, and basically tie with Naruto after their clash. There’s no way in hell that you’d think that Neji would be as physically powerful as Naruto with the actual Kyuubi chakra amp that one-shotted Haku, especially since the Gentle Fist isn’t even about raw power in the first place, so Naruto’s Kyuubi amp had to be a nerfed version of it since he was borrowing it and was still lucid and in control. And based on that alone, I’d absolutely believe that weightless Lee would be way faster.
@Historyking I don't disagree. I think gaara was a better match-up for Naruto since he could just kinda "brute force" his way through, where I don't think thats as much of an option against sasuke. I still ultimately think sasuke has more options to take Naruto out, but can still definitely see Naruto winning considering the points you mentioned.
@xinf3ctdx I mean, that's what they do in the video as well to be fair. It's also kind of the only concrete way to scale power/speed properly since how fast or strong someone looks in the anime can be entirely dependent on the style and animation. Gaara vs rock Lee got much more love from animators compared to Naruto vs neji, so it obviously looks like Lee is moving faster. But even if you take the "anime speed" into consideration, neji never flinched or acted surprised with Lee's speed while watching his fight until the 4th gate. Neji appeared to be caught off guard by Naruto's speed immediately after using the 9 tails Chakra. Naruto even appears to borderline disappear because he is moving so fast (he sort of "teleports" behind neji and throws some shuriken, forcing neji to use rotation since he was caught off guard, in addition to "teleporting" again midair to dodge shuriken neji throws back at him). I think based on that, the speed of weightless Lee, sasuke, neji, and Naruto are all pretty relative.

I think there's a couple issues with these battles. It's stated in the series, multiple times, that it is orders of magnitude harder to fight an opponent and beat them without killing intent, than to beat them with it. In the situations where Naruto and Sasuke either directly fought, Naruto always fought without killing intent while Sasuke fought with it. Because of this, I think Naruto takes both VotE fights when the characters are being freed from plot handicaps. Additionally, during the Forest of Death Naruto has a lot more stamina than Sasuke, and the curse mark ruined Sasukes body with very little usage. If Sasuke can't kill Naruto quickly I don't think he wins that battle either so Naruto is probably favored or perhaps 50/50 there.
Ugh thank you for this. It’s a well known fact in anime that fighting without intent to kill limits you heavily. And with the first fight they have sasuke won with what a 1%-5% victory over naruto without naruto trying to kill him and if he would have been that would easily over take that difference

Why doesn't Sasuke ever try to REALLY kill Naruto. In fact the only time he genuinely tries to kill him was when he was fighting him in the lake thing where Sakura was saved as usual.
Just because someone has kill intent doesn't mean they are constantly going all out to kill the other immediately.
Valley One - In order to test their power, Sasuke chose to collide Chidori into Rasengan twice instead of evade to hit Naruto directly.
Valley Two - Sasuke immediately teleports behind and smacks Naruto away with Chidori instead of using a lightning sword to slice him in half like Madara for an easy win. He wanted to beat peak Naruto so he forced him to go all out before going for the kill.
How does Retrieval arc Naruto stand a chance? Sasuke was evading One Tails Naruto without the Curse Mark. Kurama attacking through the cloak was the problem (chapter 231 pages 4-7). CM1 then tanked a punch & Naruto's arm went numb just from colliding with CM2's wing. Furthermore Naruto can only access Kurama's chakra when given. Kurama stepped in multiple times when Naruto would have lost before the final Chidori-Rasengan clash that Sasuke allowed to happen after not killing in the first Chidori usage before Kurama could even get involved.
As for the Forest, you must be again giving Naruto temporary Kyuubi boost he can't access alone if you think he beats Sasuke. Even then, Sasuke's perfomance against Orochimaru dwarfed Naruto's. Then with CM he easily defeated the Sound Ninja who beat Lee who previously beat him & Naruto. With Naruto being knocked out from one attack while Sasuke remained conscious after stronger hits.
People who are saying Naruto beat gaara and sasuke lost to gaara. So naruto is the winner doesn’t know powerscaling.

What I find crazy is Naruto and sasuke having similar fundamentals when it comes to tree climbing is crazy, since kurama nerfed Naruto’s chakra control by such a massive amount and he still matched sasuke with tree climbing
I thought it was the seal orichimaru put on Naruto during the chi in exams that messed up his Chakra control? This was shown by him not being able to master walking on water to doing it pretty easily after it’s removed by jaraiya.

Minato set the seal so Kurama's would mix with Naruto's (chapter 490, page 11, & chapter 519, page 11). And Kushina only said Uzumaki were known for their longevity, savage nature and sealing jutsu. That her and Mito were chosen as Jinchuriki for their powerful chakra (chapter 500 pages 3-4). Quality, not quantity.

Here’s why I think sage mode Naruto would beat five kage summit sasuke. I agree base to base they are equal, but let’s say we refresh the magenkyo. There still is going to be a time limit. To save time it’s fair to say 2 clones of sage mode plus starting out with it would run sasukes magenkyo out. Even if it comes down to a base to base fight with sasuke now being damn near blind if even just the eyes and whiskers of the 9 tails comes out sasuke doesn’t have an answer for that. Just based off chakra reserves, stamina, and endurance and with Naruto’s will to want to surpass/even rescue sasuke it’s not to much of a reach to say bare minimum Naruto would get that much of a 9 tails buff. At that point sasuke can’t win, there’s still the fact Naruto can still send of a clone to gather more nature energy while they fight base to base plus there’s a gamabunta summoning. Sasuke no longer has manda so Naruto should still win.

I think Naruto could win during 5 Kage Summit. I don't think there's enough of a difference in the Sage Mode and MS amp to say that one of them would win before Sasuke progressively gets weaker from using MS too much. Sasuke had the best defense with the Susanoo but I think Naruto could eventually overwhelm him with enough Rasenshurikens, Naruto's stamina would just be too much for Sasuke imo, especially since he can kinda just infinitely replenish it with Sage Mode. If you're gonna give Sasuke the same rage amps he had against Danzo it'd also probably be fair to give Naruto his rage amps and the 6 tails which definitely wouldn't end well for Sasuke.
Also for Boruto, idk much about scaling for that but I remember Naruto with his chakra drained preforming as well against Momoshiki as Sasuke and previously while neither were using rinnegan or nine tails chakra more Naruto was preforming much better against Momo, although I watched the anime for that arc so maybe it's different in other versions. Also it'd prolly be fair to give Naruto the Baryon Mode point even though it's pretty obvious since you gave Sasuke the point multiple times when it was pretty obvious that he was superior, y'all were going through every version after all.

That messed Naruto's chakra control up worse than it already was, we even get to see it when Naruto starts his training in the 1 month training time before the finals. When he is trying to learn the water walking exercise with jiraiya.
