its not user replaceable :( have to replace entire plate with palmrest keyboard and touchpad

Not true, it is replaceable... you have to cut those plastic rivets and basically just rip the old one off... with the board and other screws the new keyboard stays in place very well.. save the tape like insulation between the board and the plate.

Why are you just replacing the palmrest assembly with the keyboard, and not the keyboard itself?
I checked your website and you sell the keyboard separately without the palmrest.
So how about showing how to replace the keyboard without replacing the entire palmrest assembly?

All this just to get to the keyboard? I can't remove one key off? My rewind button is not working, so I want to clean it incase there's bread crumbs or dust 😐. I guess that's 1 button down then

You can remove to top of the keys seperatly, but be warned when doing this without experience, you may break a bit of frame, then you gat to replace the whole keyboard.
