In august I visited Oberstdorf for the IceDome Camp and enjoyed it so much! Hope to be back next year and it would be so cool if I could attend some classes of yours then☺️
Yo, thanks for this vid. I already have a decent amount of height on jumps but i want to improve my rotation speed. I know there are videos on yt to imporve technique and air position to imporve rotation speed but what muscles do i need to train the gym to actually to achieve more rotational force?
Speed can of course help you especially for doubles and triples, for singles it's not a really big deal to be a little slower. If you look at all the top skaters in the world, they are going super fast! :)
@@sydney5630 Yes! Try doing the jumps off ice first, maybe this will give you a bit of confidence in them. I understand you, I am also afraid of going faster with my jumps because I am afraid I won't be able to control the jump and that's why you need to add on speed gradually, so don't rush, but just try a little more everyday!
@@elixa562 Yes, it still is. One would have to have the jumping talent like Hanyu or Malinin to jump a triple axel without speed. Majority of people do not have this talent sadly and that’s okay ☺️
I mostly don't like people and i'm also an adult skating among a bunch of kids ; in a place where everyone is so focus on themselves or just try to catch the light, being independent minded and able to work on your own is a gift =) And if you are also able to sit and enjoy to watch others skating it's even better! I love dance and pair tho
They’re actually not, it’s just the way the pants are, they become a lighter color when they’re stretched, even the black line in the middle makes it think you can see my underwear, but it’s just how it’s sewn together. Sorry that it makes you uncomfy, but I didn’t notice it when I edited it and there’s nothing I can do now 🤷🏼♀️ Hope you can enjoy the video anyways 😅

This is SO true! My coach said exactly this to me this week and voila, my waltz jump was instantly higher. I’d forgotten to use my arms lol 🤦♀️

Does speed help to have a better jump? Cuz I see some skaters can rotate fast but the height and distance not good

Skating video! I don’t know if I would like skating though. I don’t like teammates and I want to shine for 3 minutes and handoff to the next player.
We don’t have teammates, it’s an individual sport :)
It’s a solo sport unless you do synchronized skating. Also it’s really fun if you try it you might really enjoy it!
