I just sent a message to Ryonet, asking if they can make these in different sizes. You sold me on the concept, as age is playing dirty tricks. However, I use 8x10 Speedball Frames. I also asked them if they can sell the different durometers as a stand alone product where we can cut our own to the desired/needed size. Thank you Stuart, your videos have inspired me to start screen printing our own boxes for our online brand DollarSeed. I also purchased a heat press, because I was told watching other videos, that you can place parchment paper over the half dry ink to heat and set. Have you tried this method? Would love to get a conveyor dryer, but really am working in a tight space.
The video didn't suck at all! I talked with the owner / inventor, Ron, and he gave some good pointers. They can also save you some coin during screen clean up because you can lay the squeegee down on the screen rather than having to place it all the way down by the screen clamp, or arm if you have side clamps. Therefore you'll waste less ink, and use less ink remover. He's sent us some to review, which I'll do soon. Prints are looking killer Lee!
I've been printing for nearly 30 years. I was trained to pull the squeegee and have never been able to get used to pushing. I've now had both wrists and an elbow surgically repaired, and I'm sure it's because of all the printing pressure all of these years. I'm going to give this a try and see if I can reduce some of the pain that comes from dragging a damn squeegee for a living. Great video!
The long term effects of the old way is something I totally forgot to mention! I've heard of a lot of guys in your position now, this might help with it actually
I have one and I couldn't get the center of the image to clear easy at all. I tried with a 70 duro and a triple. I might give it another chances. But for the last yr it just sat there. Glad your liking it.
The flex is because your dominate hand is overpowering your non dominate hand...after a couple hundred prints your pull will equalize and there wont be any more flex. The long posts are to rest your squeegee inside the screen so you're not dragging ink all the way to the back of the screen. I've been using mine for 1.5 years now...the only time I use a wooden squeegee is for pocket prints and sleeves.
Thank you for your informative videos, I to, have wrist and body problems. I have been considering this line of "hobby" but can't afford the equipment right now. I need something tho, to keep me moving in my old(er) age...
I bought four of these about a month ago. Haven’t had a chance to use them yet but I will definitely do that this week. Thx for the info! I also have a ton of injuries from a motorcycle wreck and my shoulders and wrist ache too. Hopefully this thing will help.
Damn i didn't even think of that. I got bad wrist from boxing and I'm about to start printing within a few months. Not even going to temp the wooden squeegee lol
AMAZING review as usual. I have 7 in my shop right now . Its literally all I use for full prints. The Ryonet ones hold the squeegees better than the yellow ones. Not sure why. Maybe the mold used to make them is newer. Quick question. When you use the 70/90/70 do your white prints come out a bit less bright? Its seams like the prints come out crisper and more detailed but with white they seam to come out less bright.
Same here, it's all I use now and I can't go back. I haven't really noticed a huge difference but in theory it should be a little brighter with a softer squeegee since it will flex more and lay down a heavier deposit. I should maybe test that for everyone at some point
Nice! I just wondered what I saw when i spot this kind of handle in one of Mickey's videos and at the playlist saw your (this) review. I guess I have in mind my own version (innovation ) hahahaha thanks cheers, renz here from the Phiippines
You need to get either temp strips or a donut probe to properly set your dryer up, no 2 dryers will be the same. An IR temp gun can do the trick but they are very inaccurate.
I can't say I have any recommendations since we all print a bit different, but in this I used a 70 and a 70/90/70 and that's been my setup the whole time now
1)Spine needs thickened, prints were uneven, as you said. I had the same issue. 2) The flood handle needs shortened by about 25mm. I had it tip over, my fault, when I was going to the next screen. If it was that tiny bit shorter, no ink would have gotten on the handle. 3). The angle is a little much, the need to take about 8 degrees out of the squeegee for pushing. It makes the pressure difficult to keep consistent as you get away from your body.

I appreciate how in depth and informative your vids are. Thanks for doin what you do. Keep em comin!
Thanks man. Making these type of videos still isn't my strong suit but I'm working on getting them up to where I want them 🤘🏻

Thanks dude. I'm really impressed by this thing and haven't touched a regular squeegee since. Congrats on that new beast of a press 🤘🏻
@@leestuart38 Bad ass. Thanks bro!

You may have been dealing with the flex that I spoke of by the sounds of it. I was having similar issues until I noticed that and corrected myself
@@leestuart38 ya it's almost you have to push the handles inwards if that makes any sense
I have been looking at these wasn’t sure if I was gonna pick up one. Definitely will be ordering some soon. Thanks Lee
Definitely worth checking out
We got one from one stop that is orange in color seems stiffer. Check it out. We don't have the weird center flex with it.
Warm up your ink container in one inch of hot water while you set up the job for much more creamy and loose ink.
I just leave it near the flash or the dryer while they warm up for the day, works like a charm
I bought a few awhile back. It was awkward and stopped. Ill have to try using them again. Thanks
Definitely worth giving a solid chance, I'm happy I did

i bought these squeegees las year for my shop and i love them
I wasn't sold at first but I'm a big fan now

They sat on my shelf for months too, it's hard to move away from a setup that works haha. But I'm so happy I finally gave them a shot

Not a bad idea 👌🏻
Just a thought dont know how it would feel as a push maybe turning it around so angle is in opposite direction??
Feeling self is the best way, I like pull style 😁
You should take one to a Cmc guy and have part or all of it made from aluminum
Very good
I need one these here in Brazil 🥰
Great review and love that you don't give 2 shits what other people think.
Thanks man!
Nothing like good egos to make you hate any job less. Glad you where able to improve your work environment.
thay had me with the drop!
That flex though...

Thanks for the Information I ended up buying 2 of them for now ... keep it up bro on this video....
Glad to put this stuff out there to help you guys out 🤘🏻
Great Video, I'm thrilled it's helping you, real game changer. Ron the inventor!
I love it so far!
Great review. Hope you got the license plate number of that snow mobile.
It was a hit and run 😂
Came out dope my dude! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯
Great review! I'm definitely going to go and try it out myself now!
Takes a little getting used to but I won't go back now 🙌🏻
I'm gonna try this!
Definitely worth a shot
Hey, do you use Action Engineering's Manual Roller Squeegee? If so can you make a video review, before I buy lol
I have one, hardly ever touch it though haha
I’m gonna have to try these I have artist in my hands seams like this would make things easier
My wrists sound like that haha. Riding MX since I was 7... now I am 39. I know your pain man.

Great review man! I guess EZ clean is on its way.
You won't regret it
tight work as usual - great review
Thanks a lot 🤘🏻
QUESTION, what is your dryer set at? i cant get mine right

Good shit, but sadly i cant buy it in europe. :(
Toteross know someone with a 3D printer ?
the roller sir where did you get it??
Link is in the description
look into the badass or kick-ass squeegees. it's made out of metal
Not a fan of it, I have the manual roller. They're way over built
Lee Stuart that the roller one sucks anus. but the squeegee one works great for the plastisol white inks.
Might help me as a beginner..👍
Would you recommend the 70 or the triple for white ink? Looking to get one for underbases
I've been going back and forth between the two and I'm liking the triple best
Very useful tool
Hey Lee, what durometers would you recommend for this?
I can't say I have any recommendations since we all print a bit different, but in this I used a 70 and a 70/90/70 and that's been my setup the whole time now
Lee Stuart awesome thanks!
Great video!!
Thanks!
great video
Thanks!
Love this Channel..but the commercials are crazy long and makes it hard to keep watching. Keep up the great work. Very inspiring.
I have no control over the ads youtube places in my videos 🤷🏻♂️, thanks though
Next you'll have to try the BADASS SQUEEGEE and let us know if it's worth it!
I'm not a fan of it, it's insanely over built
What white ink are you using?
FN ink
i don't even screen print and i watched the entire video just to lean some more if i ever do
Hell ya! That's a good sign that my video didn't suck 😂
Y’all different, y’all belong together 😅
1)Spine needs thickened, prints were uneven, as you said. I had the same issue. 2) The flood handle needs shortened by about 25mm. I had it tip over, my fault, when I was going to the next screen. 👌
Wow. Thought you were like 28 lol. Thats what’s up!
I'll never un-hear that wrist... Made for some great videos back in the day though, so worth it? HaHa
I wouldn't trade any of the pain for anything 🤘🏻
someone 3d model this so i can 3d print it haha
Buy one and support the industry, it needs it right now
Do you do anything different when scrubbing / cleaning screens? My shoulder is junk and is screaming when I have to clean to many screens at a time.
That's something I haven't found a solution to yet. For now I just switch hands every couple screens haha
