At that point in time he’d be mostly crucial to skull island’s balance, but not to the world. So had he died to the big one the bigger world would be fine, but had he died in gvk than yeah world would be screwed.

Best part is Godzilla would be strong enough to beat Shimo and stuff cause of this he wouldn’t have a lot of fights making it so he’s a lot stronger and Godzilla made it clear that he wasn’t even done getting more powerful he just stopped cus of Kong
I think MechaG would have beat him, but at the same time without Kong they wouldn’t have found the blue energy so he probably wouldn’t even have been powered up all the way, and Godzilla would eventually find him and destroy their whole plan. Thats just my take on this

The crawlers can easily be taken care of by Godzilla if they cause too much trouble.
So nothing really would change much tbh
Even if Godzilla was full power he wouldn’t be able to defeat Mecha and would still lose, but none of that would matter as hollow earth wouldn’t be discovered and the hollow earth energy is mechas power source, so no energy = Mecha would just be powered off so Godzilla can destroy Mecha as Mecha can’t do anything about it
The director literally said if godzilla was at full power he would win

SKULL CRAWLERS CAN SWIM! although we haven't seen it before but it definitely can, by swimming like most reptiles. I can definitely picture it swimming like a crocodile, and I got this from google.
In The Novelization of Kong Skull Island, it is implied that Skullcrawlers have hidden gills and can swim.
So skull crawlers will kill almost all living creatures in skull island so they will eventually move to the mainland and kill us all,
