Thanks a lot. Sorry our courageous VEGAN fighters have to endure such lack of respect and utter nonsense. Constant interruption, is a red flag of utter contempt. This happened when I tried to persuade a certain person to stop smoking especially at home when his less than 1 year old son is in the house. This guy did not quarel with me but constantly interrupted me and would not allow me to finish a single sentence. Later I realized how rude he was. After I gave him two chances, I no longer talk with him any more. He is being permanantly door slammed. So now when I see people constantly interrupt me, I just immediately end the conversation and leave. Also, when I see people smoke in front of me, I run fast to gete away from second hand smoking. Stay away from such toxic people. God bless!

Ive been a farmer for 16 years. At first i was vegetarian and was a goat shepherd and cheese maker for a few of those years but after moving to Hawaii 10 years ago i went vegan and have been growing almost 100% of my diet myself without using animals in any way whatsoever. Aside from a fence to keep out the wild horses and pigs theres no reason to manipulate the animals for food production at least not in the tropics.

I thought veganism was about not exploiting animals, not about reducing suffering.
It's about both. Often exploitation falls into the category of suffering - although I often prefer using the term harm. It's about reducing needless harm and exploitation to other sentient beings as far as possible and practicable (although many vegans have problems with the term "practicable" being used here). So, not eating a McDonald's burger because of taste pleasure is included in that (like Piers would do, or do it just to troll vegans - which is stupid).

Ugh...I like you Jamie, I REALLY do but I have to give some much needed pushback because veganism isn't about reducing suffering. Vegans REALLY need to stop framing Veganism as "reducing harm and suffering" because that's promoting welfarism; not liberation and emancipation. It's about not using others as a means to our ends instead of them being a means to ends in and of themselves. The better response to "but you kill animals as well" is there's a massive difference between supporting the slavery of all animals for trivial reasons when the animal enslavement industry is intentionally breeding bees into existence to use and exploit for all the other animals forcibly bred into existence within factory farming just so humans can steal their honey, mutilate their bodies, steal and kill their children so humans can eat their bodies and drink their stolen fluids, wear their skins, fur, feathers, silk, test on them in labs, force them to be our personal entertainment, etcetera than a few accidental, unintentional deaths during crop production. It's that very welfarist language and message that gives anti-vegans like Piers Morgan the green light to bring in the bees, almonds, and avocado nonsense.
