    The sign behind Gene says it all: "WE HAVE NO SHAME" and I'm so glad they didn't. Chuck, Gene and the whole crew gave me so much happiness as a teenager and that joy continues into my 60s.

    Everybody I knew loved Gene Gene. How could you not? BTW, Barris was an amazing dancer. Such spontaneous outrageous FUN!

    Watched this as a little boy, love when people say I have a strange sense of humor...Chuck Barris is my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I loved Chuck. Such a unique sense of humor. I LOVED the patented clap and point.

    I was an exchange student at a High School in Rochester NY in ‘79. Never seen anything like it before, and seen nothing like it since. Brilliant. Clapping in time with Chuck cracked me up every time. Genius.
