i just recently discovered these videos helping poor, elderly or disabled home owners (some renters) that need help around the yard. i have found you to be one of the best (if not THE best) in explaining what you do, how you do it, and all the behind-the-scene doings. thanx for the instruction and viewing pleasure. the mowing part is good but the real science is in edging. and thanx for bagging clippings...if you mulch each week, you get a thatch barrier that prevents water from getting to the roots thus must let lawn die or over water the lawn to make sure the roots get what they need.
You were the first person that I have seen with this on your yard equipment. I have started looking into it as something to help me since I had back surgery. Could definitely be a game changer for sure! God bless my friend from Texas!
Thanks for the tip of angling it over slightly. I installed one on my trimmer three weeks ago and have adjusted the position and angle during each weekly mow trying to get the most comfortable position. I believe your tip is my solution.
You had me at 'saves my back" when you mentioned the Darwin's Grip couple of weeks ago. On my list to try it out with hopes it will take the torture out of string trimming. Miles of fenceline is no joke! Thanks for the chance to wiin one 😎👍
I purchased and installed one of these (the white version) on my E-Go battery line trimmer after watching one of your videos last year. I am currently also running a DeWalt trimmer that I would love to try one on as well. Thanks for the good content and update on the Darwin's Grip!
Great video. People are going to use this device how they choose. But it must be noted that the manufacture designed it so that your arms are both straight, not bent.
I would love a Darwin’s Grip. Your the first person I’ve seen that uses one. Thank you for showing us how to install it. Also I want to mention I watch a lot of different lawn care videos and your the only one that doesn’t use fancy music or gimmicks to get people to watch. It’s a pleasure to watch you. Love your videos.
I would love a Darwin’s grip! I’m just now starting my lawn care business! I’m finding out fast that a grip will help my back a lot! Most definitely buying one in the future!
I have wondered about them. I am missing my pointer finger and my middle finger. thumb is also fused on my left hand. do you think this would be beneficial
New to your channel, I'm 77 and take care of about 5 acres of lawn and flower beds. Based on your upfront review and experience with this grip, I just ordered one and can't wait to give it a try. Thanks,
Fill, I'm like you wouldn't use the saddle. But I love the hexagon change to the circumference, and the locking nut addition. I think those improvements are 2 good features, on the Darwin Pro. Thank you for this video. God Bless! 🇺🇸 USAF
Love the Darwin grip. Your videos are awesome. You will go far in life with the fantastic servant attitude that you have. You are an excellent role model.
Hey Fill! I'm a high schooler trying to grow my business. I'm also 6'2" so a Darwin's Grip would be really beneficial for me! Thank you for considering. Love your content. Can't wait for more content with the Multi force!
I’m a 54 f and take care of 10 acres with a brush cutter and weed wacker and you mentioning back pain is right on the money. I’ve wondered about these for a long time and would be so nice to have one. By the way I love your edging it’s meticulous. Thanks for your videos.
Fill this is my first season and those Darwin’s grips has saved our backs. I really like the 6.1 and going to set my wife up with her own trimmer and edger. She’s 5’2” and I’m 5’11” so definitely need to get her setup. Also, thanks for sharing your videography stuff. Maybe start RUclips next year.
I like that you explain differences in the various equipment available. This new handle seems to be 'better' but Your experience will tell. Good video.
Hello Fill! I just can't trim anymore since having my back surgery. It just feels like the trimmer is constantly pulling me forward. I would love to try one of these to see how they work!
John, I too had back surgery about 7 months ago and I am back trimming again. I use the Darwin's grip and a strap. This takes the weight off my back and the Darwin's Grip allows me to stand up straighter taking the strain off the back as well. Try it, I am sure you will like it.
Toujours de belle vidéo de qualité, merci ! Belle présentation du Grip, dommage qu’on a pas ceci en France, on aurait une meilleure posture que là poignée de base sur la débroussailleuse en tant que jardinier pro. Bonne continuation 😊
Sir, I see this as a game changer! Great demo and informative share. I need this...after several back surgeries, to once again be able to trim my yard. It is a very frustrating feeling for a man, when you're unable to take care of your own chores around your house. This is what I have been looking for! Thank you.
I honestly plan to get one before too long, it’s a genius idea. Maybe there could be a reversed one that rides near the controls and engine for the kombi/pas units so that you don’t have to have a different grip on every attachment.
I use a 6.1 every day at my city cemetery and it is most definitely a game changer and back saver. I wad luckily able to talk my boss into getting some, but you are right...those knobs are pretty difficult to get super tight. That clamp definitely looks easier
Would love to get one of these, we run our own lawn business (wife, kids, and me). Would love to try one of these especially for saving my back, after years in the military my back is already always hurting but really who’s isn’t these days. Back saving is a must for us all. Awesome video love watching your content.
You were the first person I saw using the Darwin’s Grip and thought I really need one. Love be the channel, really like the as I call it Sidewalk Saturdays.
I like this and would love one for my younger co-worker as he's just starting in his lawn business and proper posture from an early age will help as he gets older.
I had back surgery in 2020. I still have pain in my back. I am just now getting back to cutting my grass and using my trimmer and edger. I know the Darwin Grip will be a very big help in using my trimmer and edger. I want to say thank you for your detailed review of the product. You explained very well the difference between Darwin 6.0 and Darwin Pro. Thanks for the up-close view of what the difference is between the two and how they both work. Watching you help me make my decision to get the Darwin Pro because of the quick-release feature. Once again, Thanks for the detailed review, and keep up your good work! May GOD continue to Bless you and your family!!!
My wife and I watch all of your videos on both channels. We love to see your work and great product reviews. I'd would love to have a Darwin's Grip. Thanks!
I've looked at these Darwin Grip Pro weed trimmer accessories several times. I've suffered with Back problems and also had Back surgery a few years ago. Being in my 70's doesn't make it easier either, but I think that maybe the Darwin Pro would be a huge benefit to my trimming requirements on my 3.75 acre rural home/land. I enjoyed your video and information.
Thanks for sharing the updated Darwin's grip. When I first saw one, possibly one of your videos?, I did a search to purchase one, but they seemed to be out of stock everywhere. I also don't see anyone in my area using one, so trying one out was also out of the question. I have a few trimmers and I find for all, I do need to bend over and like you said, you can feel it in your back. Awesome review and always enjoy your content. Looking forward to more videos showing the Toro equipment!
I own my own company i do lawncare and specialty construction and ive been wondering about them! Ive seen them for a while now just never got one! Thanks for all ya do!
Just subbed and I need 1 of these. I’ve never had a grip so I can’t give opinions yet but I know my back hurts now after trimming for a period of time.
Been watching your stuff for a little less than 2 years and it's great. Your transition edits are so smooth. I actually like to put on older videos that I've watched to go to sleep to lol
We would love to have one for our family owned business. We are just getting up and running this season and could really use all the help we can. I really love the colors.
I just bought an electric trimmer to see how I like electric vs gas and if the electric will hold up and I ran into your channel while researching the toros. I’d love to slap a Darwin’s grip on one if I won! Thanks for the opportunity and I love the channel and overgrown yard cleanups!
I would love to try one. I was hoping you would walk us thru the install and how you adjust in for you. Love your videos. I use to live in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Love that country. Im in Oregon now.
Hey Fill, thanks for the install video, it’s much more simple than the install video from the company website. I was really confused with the addition of the locktite in the packaging as it would make it permanently affixed in the initial position it’s set to.. seemed silly to add it, but I guess they threw it in just to give people the option once they get it set where they like it, but if I wanna upgrade to a newer version later on I’d rather not have to use a grinder to get the clamp off. Great channel, thanks for keeping it simple and to the point.
How cool are you?!! I recently fell at my brother’s house and broke my wrist. Had surgery on the 25th. I’m very limited in what I can do right now. Love your give away “rules”. Don’t pick me but if you do, I forfeit my win to someone else since I can’t work right now. Good luck everyone!
Love your videos. As you said, I have heard that they are neck savers for tall people...me being 6' 3 1/2". They quick release clamp looks like it would be allot easier for racks and storage.
Fill thanks for the video's we enjoy them. would love to try out the new grip I have an older one but the screw that attaches it to the shaft is striped thanks Wayne with BeeGreenLawnCare, LLC in Virginia also just wanted to see if toro gave you a promo code with all that new equipment???????
These grips are awesome from what I’ve seen! Really need to get one. I have a ton of back problems with my years in the service and this would help out tremendously!!! Great review!
God bless you too . I just installed one today on my heavy Stihl. I can't we to try it. I would love to know what you pay for your storage shed . I don't rent one it's just out of curiosity.
Awesome review from a knowledgeable user. Love the new quick release. The Pro models are sold out until late June on the Darwin website ☹️ so I’d definitely appreciate getting one of your giveaways to help my 64yo aging back on my 1.3 AC lot….🙏
Alex, my favorite lawn job to do is weedeat. I have terrible back pain. I would love to try one of these to see if it would help. Thanks for all you do!
The Darwin's grip is a great invention. A back saver for certain. I use attachment capable 2cycle and 4cycle power units and to have the attachment makes some yard clean up effortless. I'd sure would have a use for the new one. My Darwin's grip is six years old. If I don't win the giveaway I'll be purchasing another one at some point in time
It's interesting seeing all the different versions of the Darwin's Grip. As an Aussie, I sometimes think some US equipment has been overengineered or rather, overly complex in design when it doesn't have to be. Anyhow, in Australia there has been an alternative design to the Darwin Grips called Whipper Gripper Handle (from Catch Pro Australia) & the attached point is not fixed at any particular angle but allowed to pivot up & down (within a limited amount), which takes some strain off that point compared to fixed angle mounts, plus the handle points out instead of back across the shaft of the Line Trimmer which adds to comfort of the user. I've just received mine & given it an initial test (fitted to an AEG 58V Line Trimmer). So far I like it & the "pivoting" point actually helps & in my opinion (& many others) does not need to be fixed at a determined selected angle. The pivot has a friction adjustment so it will stay at the angle last used, for situations like flipping over for vertical edge trimming or when storing etc. They haven't named any versions, but I can see they have made a minor change to their original model to the friction hardware components.
Hey Fill, I am really enjoying this plus channel. I would be very excited to win one of these Darwin grips. My youngest daughter and her husband purchased 14 acres in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. They chose this property because it had a separate house for me. I like to help but, my medical condition causes my back to hurt using their bicycle handle bars. This looks perfect. Don't worry Fill, if you find a more qualified candidate I will continue to support your channels! Your attention to detail is on point! Thanks Fill and keep doing what you do. P.S. I really like your past lives streams where your wife was involved.
Hey I watch a lot of your videos and they have inspired me to start cutting a lot of over grown yards and what you do is just amazing and the way you help people out everyday and it would be nice to have one of those
I totally agree dude a black murdered out darwins grip would be a game changer. I have a commercial redmax that needs a darwins grip stoked on the giveaway.
The pro looks like a game changer..I have been wanting to get one…since I’m 6’3” and my back is sore after working in the yard…thanks for the great review…
I have the older model and now bought a 2nd trimmer so have the pro as well. Do you notice with the new quick release that there is more play in the handle? Is this normal? Im hoping it holds up and I dont have an issue. I just put it on today so I have no time on it yet. The older model has never given me any problems at all and I have been using it a few years now. Thanks.
Hey Fill, My name is Zach and I'm 16 and I have a lawn business that I love working on throughout the school year and while I'm on break in summer but I'm 6'1 and I can definitely feel my back hurting pretty bad after trimming. I was actually just talking about them before I clicked on your vid. (Perfect timing right haha) I don't really want to spend the $60-$70 for one and don't think that it would change my life that much for the price but here I am! I would love to win one of these to save my back, make me more efficient and save my money for a stand on 36in. Great review! Keep hustlin!
I would love to have one of those Darwin's Grips, seems like they would really help with my back. Thanks for the opportunity and keep up the great vids!

The one I have now is broken. I am 73 years old and it has saved my back. Could use a new one. Love your vids.

I’ll get one of those one day. Just started my own lawn business..Veteran Owned.
That new clamp is a game changer. The Darwin's Grip would do wonders dealing with the arthritis in my back.
Do it bro I got one two years back and can weedeat 2hrs at a time no prob now!
I would love one. We have a corner lot and my husband is tall like you but… much older. I bet this would help him so much. Love your channel
Love your videos Fill! I am needing a 2nd Darwin's grip!
I would love a Darwin’s Grip. Your the first person I’ve seen that uses one. Thank you for showing us how to install it. I just installed this today. WHAT A GAME CHANGER!

Love the Darwin grip. Your videos are awesome. You will go far in life with the fantastic servant attitude that you have. You are an excellent role model.
It would be great to get one for my hubby. He mows, weed eats and edges our huge yard. It takes him about 3 hours. Thank you!!
Hey Fill! I'm a high schooler trying to grow my business. I'm also 6'2" so a Darwin's Grip would be really beneficial for me! Thank you for considering. Love your content. Can't wait for more content with the Multi force!
I've been wanting to get one of these. I saw some guys using them and never saw anyone advertising them. Thanks a lot showing them.
I’m a 54 f and take care of 10 acres with a brush cutter and weed wacker and you mentioning back pain is right on the money. I’ve wondered about these for a long time and would be so nice to have one. By the way I love your edging it’s meticulous. Thanks for your videos.

This is what I have been looking for! Thank you.
I've been wanting a Darwin's Grip for a while now. I have a lot of trimming to do. I have two large yards to mow and trim. It's an awesome design.
Thank goodness I can watch you from Germany. You have shown me a lot and you're being quite helpful with your videos. Keep up the good work!
I would love to try the Darwin's grip. I am older and the trimmers hurt my back from bending over.
Love the work you do brother. I've learned so much watching your videos.
I honestly plan to get one before too long, it’s a genius idea. Maybe there could be a reversed one that rides near the controls and engine for the kombi/pas units so that you don’t have to have a different grip on every attachment.
That's where I think designers over think, overengineer & create overly complex designs when it could be quite simple.

Been eyeing this just to use on my own property but now I been picking up lawns to service and need 1 now. Nice vid!
I love the demo and info! I’ve been watching and wondering if you made it yourself! Now I know.
My wife and I watch all of your videos on both channels. We love to see your work and great product reviews. I'd would love to have a Darwin's Grip. Thanks!

Love that this will save the back! My husband could sure benefit from the Darwin’s Grip. Great review!
Definitely a back saver ✔️💯💪🏽

Just subbed and I need 1 of these. I’ve never had a grip so I can’t give opinions yet but I know my back hurts now after trimming for a period of time.
Been watching your stuff for a little less than 2 years and it's great. Your transition edits are so smooth. I actually like to put on older videos that I've watched to go to sleep to lol
We would love to have one for our family owned business. We are just getting up and running this season and could really use all the help we can. I really love the colors.
Hi! Would love to have one of the new Darwin's Grip Pro. Thanks for the opportunity!
What's not to like? My back could certainly use one of these. Thank you.
I just bought an electric trimmer to see how I like electric vs gas and if the electric will hold up and I ran into your channel while researching the toros. I’d love to slap a Darwin’s grip on one if I won! Thanks for the opportunity and I love the channel and overgrown yard cleanups!

Hey Fill, thanks for the install video, it’s much more simple than the install video from the company website.

Great channel, thanks for keeping it simple and to the point.
I really appreciate your unboxing and installation video. Great information!
Wonderful Product
Thank's Fill
I would love to have one of these because of the relief it gives your back. 👍
I really like your product reviews (and giveaways). Keep up the great work on your channel.
Just started by myself my lawncare company this would definitely come in handy God bless
How cool are you?!!

Love the Darwin grip Purchase, all Mike blades from Ballard. Great company. Cannot find the new grip on website. Glad to watch your videos.
Love the color of the Darwin grip! Have always wanted one.
Thanks.
Thanks for the post! Been looking for something to help fix my back pain.
I've got one that I've had for 3 years on my trimmer and would never leave home without it. Need one for the edger now lol.
I love your content and would love to try out the Darwin grip!
