Out of the 8, do you have a painting you like just a little more than the others? Or one you found a little more difficult to do? Btw the haircut looks great!💙
Gosh, I just hope these buyers realize what a steal this is! You are practically giving your art away. $200??!!!! for 10x10 panels and you took all that prep time, effort and shipping??? Very beginning artists start at $2 per square inch - you are hardly a beginner. Lucky buyers!!!
SLEW hi slew. I tried painting in oils in my room but the strong smells of gamsol fills the room and my eyes feel like they burn and get irritated. Even with my windows open the fumes are too strong. How do you handle that? Or are you using something other than gamsol?

I’m an artist and have done this very successfully! It’s wonderful to get paid doing what u love! I’ve had a major injury and am in PT trying to get my life back...thanx for getting me motivated again !
I totally agree. the key is the right work ethic, and smart approach. I know many better realism artists don't make living because of lack of motivation or too afraid to fail.
That’s my dog Captain (small white dog)!!! Can’t wait until it gets here! You did such a great job. Amazing to see how much work and care went into these. Thank you thank you!
well you paid a inflated cost more than what your local tatoo artist could do in a day or 2 at maybe $100, like literally im baffled you payed this dude $400 for a piece which high school graduates can do, i mean he fucked up the right side and the lighting is jacked but to each their own i guess, we live in a bizaro place where artists who are literally printers are shafted while some dude with a camera and social media with a sub par artistic skill is praised. hit me up and i can paint you a real portrait free of charge just to make a point
You really do understand what it means to be an artist, and one who can produce. Most old time artists are known for certain works, but most today fail to realize that our old time favourite artists produced impressive quantities of completed works. (Thousands of pieces.) They were machines.
I guess it goes back to the question where such talent comes from. Is it god given talent or is it practise? I can see the dedication Slew puts in, the understanding, the ambition and the desire to evolve. This paired with the productivity is for sure the best recipe for a great artist.
I think, i've never been so in love with a channel like im right now with SLEW.Dude, the chill vibe and the gotta study more vibe mixed up together is the perfect recipe for me.
I stopped my drawing and painting and all for a couple months due to my emotions and stuff but then I found your videos and was instantly an inspiration to get back into it and I’ve been very very happy it’s like I found it all over again man. Keep doing what you’re doing

I am a 57 yo artist (so I call myself) and for the past two years (pandemic years) I have found some incredible young artists. One of them is you! I grew up without computers or any technology, everything I did was with paper and pencil. I am impressed by your art and all you do. Because of all you young ones, I have been inspired to paint and do art again. I am a traditional, conservative in some ways, kind of artist, willing to expand my artistic expressions thanks to you. Beautiful work! can't wait to get back home and get dirty with oils!!!! Congrats.... you are amazing!!!
Good job Slew. I really enjoy seeing how you also consider your work as a learning process and with all of your patience and determination towards an acceptable end-result, it seems like you also don’t think of any time as being wasted. I look around your studio while I listen and watch your videos and say to myself “He’s a real artist and I have a lot of respect and admiration for what he does.” I wish you the best.

I found your channel a out w month ago and I am soooooo obsessed because your style is a lot like mine. I like doing people and body forms too. Young man, you are awesome!!! Do not underestimate your work. To get proportions and look a like on animals and humans is a real God given Talent. You nailed it and so quickly too. You charge for well for your work. You can always come down but it is hard to go up! That is a basic business principle. You are an excellent artist.
