I just wanted to acknowledge how brave it is to share about your mental health experience. I am so proud of you for taking such good care of yourself. Also, if you ever feel too burnt out, maybe look for sabbatical opportunities at your company so that you dont have to resign and can still perform well after your recharge. We are so young and we will work for a long time so it is so important to take good care and love ourselves even more day by day. All the best to you ❤️

hi sarah! congrats on your new place and im so happy that it’s *almost* feeling like home. i love plants so here are some that are my fave: 1) ficus audrey and 2) satin pothos / scindapsus! those two are super easy to take care of and they do really well in bright light!

Love the apartment, can’t believe how much it is compared to the market here in the south! You could live like kings and queens here LOL I’ve seen Esther from I believe Michelle Choi’s channel in the past 😊 So cool to see familiar faces across the whole wide world of RUclips!
I definitely recommend anything peperomia, ficus, calathea and begonia type of plants. So many to choose from depending on how much light you get in your space. Ficus tineke and ruby are so easy to take care of. Calatheas can be finicky, but who doesn't like a challenge when it comes to plant care? They're totally worth it imo. 😁
little shop of soil in bushwick has a huge selection of plants, and i've seen them selling the variegated syngonium plant u posted a picture of. check out their ig, they post on their stories new plants when they arrive at the store
Lovely vlog! My favorite plant is the Peperomia Obtusifolia Albo-Marginata!!! It has a lovely color, cute and simple plus simple to take care of too! It was my first baby plant 🥺💙

I just moved from chicago to LA and the only plant I brought with me is my jade plant because I knew she'd be resilient to the move! They're slow growers but really low maintenance and it's satisfying to notice growth after a few months.

Marantha (the praying plant). It is not hard to take care of this plant, it is very beautiful and be aware of her movement… sometimes it gets scary ‘cause you can hear it lol
