Yesterday I learned that all the versions that people post of the "OST" of this song are actually all incorrect, seeing as how the one provided by Hoyo-Mix does not have phase 3 loop with the Chasm's version over it, nor is that loop actually in the game. That said, I do prefer having the loop with Chasm's version on top.
All traveler and Nahida fought was a single cell aka 'Guardian of the Oasis'. Nahida wasn't lying when she said Apep the Dendro Dragon Sovereign is immensely powerful. If this is the strength of Apep, Neuvillette and other surviving Dragon Sovereigns in their weakened state without their authority, just imagine how powerful they are in their prime especially when they fought against Primordial One and its Four Shades for 40 years non-stop, back then. That also explains how powerful Primordial One is. Like, help how traveler is going to do against Celestia lmao.
Well Neuvillette said he, on his own, can easily push back the Primordial sea if he has his full dragon sovereign authority.. and he not only did that, but completely defied Celestia and turned Fontainians into real humans not just Oceanids with human form.. he also powers the whole city of Fontaine with his Arkhe powers since the Oratrice is now broken.. that's how strong dragon sovereigns are.. I think Tsaritsa is trying to get hold of these powers of the dragons because the abyss is a very powerful threat and they need the power of the dragons to fight it back.. remember, Neuvillette didn't solo the Narwhal.. Childe was already fighting it for about a month and traveller fought with Neuvillette.. and the best they did was neutralize it and take away the primordial waters from it.. if it woke up it could've fought back again, but Skirk showed up and just turned the Narwhal into a ball.. meaning the power of one dragon sovereign may not be enough to fight back the abyssal powers..
Wait till they end up expanding on the first dvalin encounter where we will have actual mechanics in a 1 on 1 fight with a dragon in the air. That surely will happen at some point.

People keep saying that, but Warden isn't just a cell. Those things it summons in 2nd phase are the "white blood cells" and Warden is the leader of them. Considering Apep entrusted the Warden to keep the Oasis safe I would not be surprised if it was as strong as a god.
@@user-rt5pv1vr5f if that were the case there'd be more than one warden after us unless really only one of his wbc's went to kill the intruder. The archive calls them all guardians, and seeing how Warden was also affected by the same "evolution" as the 2nd phase dudes, im pretty sure it's not a cell and instead an elemental being itself. @@Phoenix-qw4en Um, that's not exactly Xiao's theme, it's actually the Photon leitmotif 🤓
sumeru style version of the unused chasm track, neat
Why whenever a banger boss ost come and I think it will never be surpassed, it get surpassed with literally the next coming boss ost😭
All of the genshin bosses have epic themes, I think that each of them has it's own level of epicity. Like, Rage Beneath the Mountains still rocks, or Signora boss theme is still so hard. But yeah, Yung Peng Chen is really compromised in making each ost unforgettable
Never even noticed it playing ingame but at 3:28 around here, the “morse code” slowly gets louder and more prominent. It’s not spelling SOS but it seems appropriate here, given the whole mission on a “time limit” to “save” a dragon!
This is by far the perfect soundtrack for Sumaru's final weekly boss fight.
I had the pleasure to listen to this live in an orchestra and it was epic
Decided it to have my Music volume up lead me to this song man it gave fire emblem vibes it's nice but still they'll come a time I'll mute the music again
1:53 dont mind it just for me
Yesterday I learned that all the versions that people post of the "OST" of this song are actually all incorrect, seeing as how the one provided by Hoyo-Mix does not have phase 3 loop with the Chasm's version over it, nor is that loop actually in the game.
That said, I do prefer having the loop with Chasm's version on top.
@2:30 sounds like when someone's about to make a comeback in yugioh.
@@lmntsgames3848childe was fighting it in the abyss I think and the abyss time is different
Wait till they end up expanding on the first dvalin encounter where we will have actual mechanics in a 1 on 1 fight with a dragon in the air. That surely will happen at some point.
I'm sure everyone will going hype for it.
we have our protagonist fighting while flying when facing unknown god. so there will be a aerial fight in the future
The Last Phase sound sooo goodddd man
sadly it didn't make it to the official one, it's just the MIDI version, the final version is the one that uses the flute all distorted and weak
@@luisfillipebeserra2108 Damn...
lol yesterday i fought this boss fourth times only for the music
after fighting Apep, the lore dropped and turned my perspective on the "GENSHIN" (primordial gods); who the title actually meant to refer, and what their roles are, was, and will become
Its the "primordial one" that I tend to find out also. He was the one who vanquished those original ruler of seven.
This ost hits hard! I love it!!
The previously leaked version was much more dramatic while this one is more region-specific.
Yep, that’s why you don’t look at leaks because things could be different.
@@Etherhackerlmao and disappointing, don't forget that part

*me fighting the boss with tears in my eyes while doing nahida story quest*
The bansuri at first phase gives just the right amount of sense of pressure as needed in first phase
And the second phase is the gateway to heaven for ears
Fights in genshin never were hard (except abyss floor 12 cause i have weak teams) but it was about maintaining fight to enjoy the music
Except, I killed this immune system too quickly to enjoy the music. I had to intentionally take a weak team to enjoy it fully.
You can imagine that, what you are fighting with is simply a cell of Apep, and it was sick, your mission is to rescue it.
People keep saying that, but Warden isn't just a cell. Those things it summons in 2nd phase are the "white blood cells" and Warden is the leader of them. Considering Apep entrusted the Warden to keep the Oasis safe I would not be surprised if it was as strong as a god.
@@theicecreammachineisbroken654 the second phase are elemental beings that live in ape body, the warden is probably just a cell 😧
Plus the name "warden" means someone who is the leading figure in a defense of some sort, like in a prison. The ones below a warden are the defenders, aka the ones he summons.
This OST is rocking!
Sumeru is the only region have Song theme that Makes you bang your head harder than illegal "Stuff". This is On the different kind nd of Feels. Legally
Right as i clicked nahida'a burst.. SO EPIC
Best version of sumeru's update, thank you =D
Thank you too!
I mean.. 3.1 added the desert and introduced Dottore which was one of the most hype things in the story :))
@@Etherhackerlmao I was talking about the soundtrack, since there are few videos about and are not prop edited.
0:45 my favorite part
0:44 This is what forbidden knowledge sounds like...
Kinda reminds me of xenoblade 3s soundtrack with the wind instruments basically carrying the song as the beat goes off with the wind flutes
My favorite soundtrack from the game, used to be Ashdaha's but this one just blows everything out of the water.
Coincidentally, the last soundtrack composed by Yu-Peng Chen before he left Hoyomix, as far as I know.
Nope. It's composed by Yijun Jiang (姜以君); the last weekly Yu Peng Chen composed was Scara's
its the 2:20 most beautiful battle theme in genshin . PROVE ME WRONG
Scaramouche
this reminds me of monster hunter so much
I personally just like the first theme, sounds something important that we must do, the emergency
Hmm
I love how they implementuje various instrument from the region its based from
don't know why but that last phase kinda sounds like fire emblem ost lmoa, absolute banger
