Good memories, I used to spearfish on those rocks, a lot of octopus. I’m sure is illegal now but that was 40 years ago.
We did see some spearfishing at Ponte de Piedade when we were there! I think with the right licence/permit it is still legal here :) T.

What poisonous and nasty creatures are there in Portuguese waters? Do you get sharks?
Nah, not so many sharks and hardly anything that could really hurt you. It's nothing like Australia or South Africa.
You need to practice your pronunciation of place names....
