    Whoever restored this one, did it right. The reason for for that low end punch? They added the dual exhausts. 318s were normally a workhorse V-8, not the massive powerhouses that the Mopar big-block engines were. Adding the duals let the engine breath better. The 318 provided the basis for the 340, which was a screamer in its own right---you can make a 340 out of a 318 if you change the intake heads and add a 4-barrel carb. And 340s were available in the '69 model Barracudas in Formula S trim, as well as 383s. There were also a few 440 Formula S cars built as well, but all of those are either wrecked or in private hands---and anybody who owns one knows what they've got and they're not letting go.
    I hate to be "that guy", but this car does not have power brakes. No vacuum chamber. That said, it looks like the brakes grab pretty well. I just wish I could come buy it from you!

    People laugh that I like the cudas before 70 than 1970 on when it became barracuda. Just a preference. But yeah the 70 CUDA is a beast. But they are all fabulous from the first one to the last one.
