This has got to be THE BEST and the most straight forward vid I’ve ever seen on RUclips with regards to bleach bathing and toning hair - I have now watched this countless times and I’m looking forward to my own DIY efforts - I’m well past my full head highlights appointment and my roots are awful.. I keep ya posted and thanks again for a fab video x
Your hair is absolutely beautiful!!! Proof that olaplex does wonders for fine hair types. Wish my hair was naturally light like yours, but mine is like level 1 and I have coarse asian hair lol. Such a struggle to go from black to platinum blonde.
Hiya, well done. You've done a great job and I know if your hair dresser is watching she'll be so proud of you! I'm in need of dying my hair but I don't know if it's only me but nearly every time I intend to dye it I somehow get either a spot or my scalp feels tender and I have to put it off! Please tell me it's not just me, anyone lol. Your roots are darker, mine are grey! I wouldn't mind if only they'd go more than an inch from my roots but they don't, that's why I dye it! I'm going to have to wait now for the spot on my scalp to go before I can do it. I bought the dye about a month ago lol. Thanks for sharing, and it turned out brilliant. I was thinking whilst watching, I wish I had someone like you to do my hair lol. Hope you and your family are coping okay and your all staying safe. ❤🥂👍
You did such a good job Juliette, it turned out beautifully. You are so tidy, if I was dying my hair at my dressing table I would have more of it on me and around me than on my hair. I always make a mess no matter how careful I try to be, lol. I hope you and all your family are well.
Thank you so much Denise I was so pleased. Trust me, it looked a bomb site off camera 🤣. Thank you, we are all well thank you. Hope you are all well and staying safe too. Thank you so much for watching lovely ❤️ xxxx
Came out very nice I'm just really scared because my hair is almost as thin as yours so I can't afford to lose any hair so I really want to do a fun color but I'm afraid of the bleach part because my hair is pretty dark I'd say a level 3-4 so I can't get the fun colors without lightening it, I wonder if the olaplex would help me🤷🏻♀️
Hi Juliette, not while Holly is a bush could I manage that.I have long blonde treated hair.I get it done professionally. Not too often about 3/4 times a year..You did a great job.
I am very happy to have found this video. I have not dyed or bleached my hair in over a decade and it has become a lot thinner. I have wanted to be blonde again for a long time, seeing it work on someone with the same hair as me makes me want to do it even more!
Thank you so much Sara! That means so much to come from a hairdresser. I’m always so hesitant doing diys, especially when it’s a job that should be left to the professionals! But needs must in this weird time 🙈, So thank you. Thank you so much for watching lovely ❤️ xxx
Hey lovely, you did a fab job hun, my hairdressers cancelled my end of April appt but I daren’t touch mine as I don’t use bleach I just have a all over colour as I’m not dark but I am dreading the growth for however long we’re on lockdown I will be grey, I guess no one will see me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 your looks great! Lots of love always Jo xoxo
Thank you so much Jo. You’re like me then, my appointment was booked for the end of this week 😩. I bet you would do a fab job but like you say, I doubt anyone will see anyway! 🤣 if I wasn’t doing you tube I wouldn’t bother either! Thank you so much, hope you’re staying Safe in jail 😉😂. Lots of love to you xxx
Best video I've found about using Olaplex 1 & 2 with bleach for a roots touch up, which is exactly what I need to do to my blonde roots! So happy I found this. Quick question, when it's time to rinse out the bleach did you just rinse it with water then apply Olaplex 2, or did you rinse, lightly shampoo and rinse, then apply no 2? And if you do use shampoo should it be the Olaplex shampoo, a baby shampoo or a neutralizing shampoo? Thanks for any feedback. Going to check out your other videos. 🙂
Being Mrs Dudley it actually came out well. And my artistic son gave me a quick trim,so that’s me set for another few weeks. It’s amazing what a bit of DIY does! 👍😊 xx
Just wondered why you didn't leave the original bleach on longer since you were using the Olaplex. I think avoiding the toning step would mean less damage to the hair.
This is a very good point and actually I was thinking the same thing as toner does fade out! I think I always panic leaving bleach in my hair as it’s so thin and fine but you’re are so right, with Olaplex that should be fine to do, what do you think? I think I may do that next time for sure! Thank you so much for your comment! Thank you so much for watching lovely ❤️ xxxx
@@BeingMrsDudley I've never tried Olaplex. Perhaps try leaving the bleach on a limited amount of hair or small strand test to see what your 'virgin' hair will stand with the Olaplex. If I were you, I might consider just doing a frost so that less hair is exposed to bleaching. It seems that processing the hair will thin it out, is that what you have found? To me it seems that bleaching hair is taking away something from hair (hence less substance). Also I use a rinse out toner that hopefully doesn't damage my hair and I use it infrequently just in case. I process my hair no more than 1 time in 3 months or at about 2 inches of outgrowth and then only as a frost at the crown and sides and avoid hair I've already lightened. I'm not a professional hairdresser, just a regular person who highlights their hair. Really appreciated your informative video! Wishing you the best always.
Thank you so much Lesley 😘. What kind of nail video would you like to see Lovely? Let me know! I need all the ideas at the moment 🤣. Thank you so much for watching lovely ❤️ xxxx
Being Mrs Dudley ooh I don’t know. I suppose just keeping them looking nice when gel has come off or extensions off. I don’t care I just love watching ❤️
Looks lovely and doesn’t it make you feel clean and smart I would like to do my hair as my hairdresser comes to my house so I cannot get it done . you look so lovely 🦋
This video is so helpful, just about to do my own scalp bleach. Have ordered olaplex on ebay but from a different seller. How did you measure the 1.87ml out. I'm not sure that mine comes in a measuring tube. Thanks in advance for your help xx
Hey, Should u put the number 2 on after or before you tone? As Ive just done mine and washed out the bleach (no shampoo ) , then toned my hair , then applied number two, washed out then applied number 3 for 15mins , then washed and conditioned with 4 and 5 then blow dried in number 6... But watching your video I wonder if I did number 2 wrong doing it after toner haha xxx
Your sclap doesn't get irritation from bleach? Although I use 10 volume developer still I can't go near it if.. my head will be on fire if I go near my root
I don‘t bleach about 2 years. My Hair isn’t thicker. It don’t Looks Better. But honestly i can comb My hair. It is smooth! I would Love to be bleach blonde. But Iam Too scared
Hi, i am a cosmetologist - San Francisco. Nice video but you are not clear. Instead of 'using this;' etc. Repeat slowly the number and name of the Olaplex product. Speak slower. Speak less and be crystal clear about (once again) the name and number of the Olaplex product. SLOW way down in your speech.
It is so refreshing to see somsone else with hair like me.

The toner wella 10.69 should of been mixed with the Wella Colour Touch Intensive Emulsion Developer 1.9% not a 10 vol to less damage the hair.

She use wella illumina color 10/69
