It plays with tension, silence and darkness pretty well, I'll give you that, it builds anxiety and never resolves it, when you think it's about to resolve another layer gets added. It's good, but maybe it needs to resolve more, and at times it may be a little too slow. I don't mean resolve as in a classical jumpscare, this short is way more effective as is, instigating uneasiness, what I mean is adding more plot. But to be honest this is better that 99% of the shit that's out there, don't know what people are complaining about. If you could combine your camera work with some psychological plots and a balanced pace you may be able to do some pretty fun stuff.

This is the greatest horror movie ever. It's the tale of Todd. A divorcee that has no money, no friends, no life and just exists. He opened every door with purpose cause he wanted his sad existence to end. The "monster" was really only checking on him, but the cut scenes were him begging and pleading for the "monster" to end it for him. This movie really hit me deep in the soul

I don’t like to criticize independently made short horror films on YT for a variety of reasons (Mostly smaller budgets and the restrictions that they cause) but holy hell. This was just a waste of time. 8 minutes of a guy doing nothing but turning lights on and off. No story, no context, No jump scares (excluding the phone alarms which go off, for some reason). I understand if there were constraints involved, but STILL. 8 minutes and you couldn’t come up with any sort of story, or just… anything? It doesn’t even have to be that scary, as long as there’s some sort of effort put into it, I (and a lot of the comments section) might be more understanding. But instead, we got whatever this is. Unfortunately. Hopefully, if you ever make another “film” like this, you can improve on everything you did wrong here and make something good that you can be proud of and that the audience can be entertained by.
In the future I think a clearer story and cutting out unnecessary elements would help. We watched him for almost 9 minutes turn off lights after waking up and that immediately seems off. There's also no real tension. Good job getting something made and good luck in the future
This is same guy/story line of Haunted Apartment and the Apartment is exactly the Same. The Ghost is more scary in this one. So the Title Should be Haunted Apartment Part 1. This should have been one longer short film
this was good to me i don’t know what everyone watched but that guy was creepy.. this was creepy in general. the guys expression.. and walking up in the end. how quite it is portrays real life. imagine someone like him in your house without knowing. i would die if i seen him. overall this movie is creepy as and well done. not the best… but well done
