Joscho Stephan quintet: Seul Ce Soir live 2022!

Am 19.05.2022 traf sich bei Jazz Club Hannover ‪@gartenheim7457‬ eine ganz besondere Besetzung: Das Joscho Stephan Trio wurde verstärkt durch Costel Nitescu an der Violine und Thimo Niesterok an der Trompete. Heraus kam ein hochklassiges und ungewöhnlich arrangiertes Programm mit beeindruckenden Solopassagen aller Beteilligten. Eins der vielen Highlights war ohne Zweifel die Version von Seul Ce Soir, dem französischen Klassiker von Paul Durand.
A really extraordinary Jazz cast played a great concert in May, 2022 ‪@gartenheim7457‬ : The Joscho Stephan Trio accompained by Costel Nitescu on violin and Thimo Niesterok on trumpet. This special evening had many Highlights, one of them was without doubt the excellent version of Seul Ce Soir.

Costel and Thimo add that certain finesse to the Joscho ensemble. Timeless violin and trumpet solos that the crowd finds sublimely mesmerizing much like I do. Joscho Sven and Volker you have put together a performance that works perfectly for this track since all instruments involved compliment each other since no single performer dominates it. Nice work and the perfect instrumental version of this time honored classic!!
