      Hi, I've been here once and it was amazing! But I'm going back to Korea in November and my friend is vegetarian. Is it possible to order half with chicken and half without chicken?

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  6 лет назад +1

      Mary Nguyen
      Hi, sadly I don't think they serve half chicken and half without chicken because this dakgalbi is mixture of chicken and vegetable :(
      But, this is my opinion! why don't you ask them first and then get inside ?!

    I loved the idea of turning the left overs into a fried rice. So simple but so good, and less waste. Very warming on a cold day I imagine!
    There's a lot of traditional recipes here which are based on the idea of using *everything* or making do with what you have on hand. Due to rationing in WWII we had to make do without various things, including sugar, so recipes were made using other things for sweetness, so now we have "carrot cake" (which is really surprisingly good!). "Black pudding" is as old as time itself; a sausage made using wheat and pigs blood. The idea is to use absolutely everything when you slaughter an animal and not belittle life by only taking a few bits you want and discarding the rest. Many people turn their noses up at these things, but it's important for a sustainable future. Too many people want a sirloin steak and nothing else, because they can't see past what is advertised or pre-packaged for them.

      I wish I could make the video about Nami Island for you. I'm so sorry about it!
      Nami Island was our first trip in Korea when we dated HAHA!
      That place is a worth a visit. you can relax, entertain and enjoy the nature near Seoul.
      But, to fully enjoy the Nami Island, I think at least 1 or 2 days will be needed!

    Omg I'm getting hungry! Is dakgalbi like a one pot dish? Like if i want rice and meat and cheese, do I get it in one pan? Thank you! I enjoyed watching your videos and makes me more excited to visit Korea when everything is good and safe to travel. Take care!

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  4 года назад +1

      Yes, it's a one pot dish. At first, you can order meat and cheese on top! After you eat some, you can ask them to make fried rice with all the leftover. I actually made a Dakgalbi recipe video a few weeks ago. If you haven't watched it, you can check it out! 🤗😍

    We are planning to go Korea this February 2019. Will it be this cold? It’ll be our first time going in winter. I’m just looking at what others are wearing so we know what to pack. Any tips on what we should bring?

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  6 лет назад

      이찬희사랑해 Yes, it will be VERY cold! Only you need to bring is the warmest clothes you have. I recommend duck or goose down padding or something like that! The coat is not enough!

    I think this couple is cute, and matches well together, korean guy, and korean girl, and tries to report in english for ueguk, koreans. Are you going to make a video just speaking hangul in the future? Putting cheese in genip sam, and duk sam, and sangchul is wierd! I like traditional sangchul sam.

    • @AaronandClaire
      @AaronandClaire  6 лет назад

      I visited Korea in 2016, and I thought Korea Daiso was great, and sold tasty korean snacks, Lotte Ghanna chocolate, cookies, and korean, and China products. How is Donald Trumps battle with Kim Jun Eun, North Korea, and bad mouthing Koreans in U.S., England, and European countries; together not illuminati, but white supremacy, western colonialism!? How is the U.S. propaganda, and South Korean propaganda affecting South Korea? Thanks for messaging me back A's Kitchen. How is Seoul, South Korea? I have been to Jamsil, Gwanju, Busan, and Myeongdong, Dongdemun, and Namdemun.
