I still have that ISO on my pc and will transfer it to a USB. Will I still be able to mount it off of a USB? Hope so. @anthonyl9116 How to repair Windows 11 without losing data. Unfortunately, Windows only has the ISO for 24H2 available now. There is a way to get the ISO for 23H2, saw a video on that, but it requires a little coaxing.

He was asked about recall an said " It's there and it is a dependency for the file explorer an can't be removed. whats it doing there? My guess would be nothing. you can disable it but it's still there and it's still loaded"

@@Jon717 I'm not sure how those things work, but Brian runs his channel how *he* sees fit, and I'm okay with that. 🫡 (Since posting that last comment discovered that I can download an evaluation copy of the ISO file directly from Microsoft, where they also provided a list of resellers who sell license keys for it. I bookmarked it in case I decide to go down _that_ particular rabbit hole in the future. 😉)

Yes, if upgrade from older version and assuming u downloaded the version with the same language that you installed Windows previously Ex: Clean install windows 11 23h2 English (United Kingdom) can keep files if upgraded to 24h2 English(United Kingdom) But English (United States) will *DELETE* C:/users/ but keeps files installed in C:/
