I think it's nuts to have no sleep and expect to take an E-scooter on a round trip BGC/Tagaytay. That could not have been easy on your body. Please take care. God bless
It's a good warm-up for now. Next time you schedule the Tagaytay trip, spend the night, relax and soak up the view, and have a fun day! I'm from Cavite.
The next time you guys go to Tagaytay you should spend the night and chill. That would be fun to also bond and create memories. Also, sleep well before the day of the ride, take extra care and follow traffic rules.
It was a good plan to go to Tagaytay using escooters. However, I would recommend you guys staying the night in Tagaytay instead doing a day trip. Tagaytay is not really that far, but with escooters I think you really need to stay there so that you can all enjoy yourselves with good food and cooler weather. Better luck next time. Have a blessed Sunday! 😎🌞🙂
I think it's better to use road bikes/mountain bikes than e-scooters, it's gotta be so much to handle. This e-scooters are made for short trips only looking at this. Im saying this coz I see a lot of friends & even my brother & nephew's biking that far or more. From Silang Cavite near Tagaytay, To Pasay City. Or they go to Batangas from Silang Cavite with proper biking gears, suits on.
Awesome adventure. Good to break out of your little bubble at BGC and mix it up with the hoy polloi. I would be triply impressed if you are the one playing your video music. Nice.
That is cool Mergs...travelling to Tagaytay with e scooter is cool..so fulfilling when u reached to ur destination with that e scooter...stay safe and enjoy
We went to Tagatay at 11a for the first time, also from BGC. We didn’t get home until 11p - traffic on the way back made it 3 hour return. Put People’s Sky Park and “Breakfast at Antonio’s” on your list. But do the sky park early before overcast. Entry is 30 pesos and parking 20 pesos.
Nice adventure! Too bad you were not able to make it to Tagaytay. Just a few months in the country and you’ve gained friends plus you’re close to 70k subscribers. Hopefully before the year ends you’ll be able to hit 100K.
Travelling 140km from BGC to Tagaytay on a scooter and without sleep.. whew! that takes a lot of stamina to do that.. take care people. Stay safe always.
good afternoon to all viewers and noti gangs ...pls. don't 4get to like share and to all new viewers ..pls. subscribe ... and don't skip ads and thanks to those who didn't skip ads
Nice Vlog buddy! I wanted to buy an electric scooter too but cost to performance is not that good compared to a motorized standing scooter. We are using a go-peds and different kinds of small engine commuter that we don't have to worry about running out of battery as we are using gas and for repairing flat tires is a bit easier that a electric hub. Carrying another extra battery is heavy added to the rider's weight. Motorized can go right away and every 5-10 kilometers there is always a gas station no waiting time compare to a battery operated if you run out you need to charge for a few hours. You should try motorized standing scooter with suspension, every riders have their own preference but I always choose a motorized one. Anyways fun watching even it's frustrating.
What I know when professional riders / drivers go for a long ride, @ least a day before the long ride you should have known, checked everything, every parts of your vehicle that needs replacement or repair @ had a very good assessment of its condition to avoid delays or abortion of plans along the way & so as safety on the road
The problem with people in e-scooters is, they barely use the bike lane when there is. And even there is no bike lane, they should always keep on the outermost right side of the road next to the gutters. They should keep that in mind for everyone's safety
Electric scooter 🛴 is good for city use only, not for out of town driving. You must consider road conditions and weather conditions.😜😜😜 Expect the unexpected while in the Philippines. Always be prepared.
oh no.. trip for another day.. hope you still did enjoy.. take care always mergim.. you guys should leave way earlier can extime.. and have spare tire? hehe
Ugh! I hate it when that happens! Anyway, it's really not the destination, it's the camaraderie that you build along the way. We are not as good editor as you are so we don't post a lot of videos but I can say riding these EKS, they're super cool! Super fun! Just gotta make sure you've got all those necessary tools, repair kit and stuff to keep the fun going... Best tool I could recommend would be the Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor, cheap and super reliable.
Oh, how I miss my electric scooter. I had a foldable electric scooter close to 3 years back when I lived in Makati and I sold it due to it being old and I acquired a motorcycle. Now, we have multiple properties in Cavite and Makati and I'm really contemplating on purchasing another electric scooter because our condo in Cavite doesn't have a parking slot. The electric scooter would come in really handy going back and forth from our condo to our house in Cavite since it's only 11-15 minutes away.
Hey Mergim, since you once rode a motorcycle in Cebu, have u considered Motourism? (touring the Philippines by motorbike?) Lots of beautiful places in the northern Philippines can be toured only by car or motorbike, i.e. Bessang Pass, Highest Point, Daang Katutubo, Quirino Skyline Viewdeck, Mapanuepe Lake, etc.
Ooh this is cool! But with the advent of these new fast scooters and number of them plying the road, have a feeling they’ll be rolling out new laws for these re requirements, maybe even having proper licenses just to use these. So sad you guys didn’t make it all the way through. Was it a test run? It seems like a good one and you guys were able to see all potential problems to watch out for in the future. 07:25 Btw you kept saying pm here instead of am since it was still morning.
Yo, is that Slymer? That's awesome. I went to the shop about a month ago trying to check out Nami Klima. Unforetunately, my mom and fiance didn't allow me to get an e-scooter because they fear I might get hurt or worse. Apparently, Slymer has the same Surname as me and our ancestors have the same origins, which was an awesome revelation. I hope that one day I could join your trips here in Makati.
For a trip like this i would recommend all gear. I've see an EUC version of the same idea and 1 guys fell off at around 40 mph. Other that than it's pretty fun.
Not the perfect time yet, I guess. Plan for the next road trip and maybe, that soon, is gonna be way better. Seems you and your friend Justin are enjoying a lot in the country, huh?! Any plans of staying in the Philippines for good? Scooter is most likely the best option to beat the traffic congestions up. Innit? Anyways, stay safe and happy, brother.
I don't see how they could stay in the PI. They would need a source of income. They're too young to retire. I'm still trying to figure out how they can be on permanent vacation. Do they make enough from RUclips?
wow what an adventure you had. e-Scooter not a bike, on the highway!? and with speed like motorcycle considering some Pinoys bad driving attitude, you can be accidentally hit. But I admire all your guts. Good thing you were not able to reach Tagaytay due to circumstances. Take care and get enough of sleep bro. Next time again.
I think it's nuts to have no sleep and expect to take an E-scooter on a round trip BGC/Tagaytay. That could not have been easy on your body. Please take care. God bless

Where I’m from we see those scooters always breaking down on the side of the roads. Lol They’re not reliable long term

@@axizcorp yes electric bike would be better too, just what we see around the villages, d ones which are single and lighter.

Hi fun to watch but undoubtedly so dangerous! However the journey is epic..stay safe everyone. God bless riders....Mergim, Justin.
Lol the tiny lady rider in the lead is so short and stable almost hugging the street, like a Ferrari.
Nice ride! 👍👍👍
Awesome! 🙌
Merghim, I think next time you scoot, you should wear reflectorized jacket for visibility protection.
Damnnnnnn!!!! That really seems so fun n cool, but somewhat scary at the same time.
Actually glad yet surprised it became so popular there in Manila.

Seeing how nicely paved the city roads are is such a stark contrast to the state of North American roads
