This is one of the best tennis championship moments ever.. So happy for Madison and she deserves all of her accolades. Keep moving forward Miss Madison.. We are all so inspired and proud of you!
Maddy’s performance was completely dialed in, the difference between US Open and AO, it’s incredible. When I saw her playing in AO, I knew the confidence was there, the game was there, the physical and mental was there, it was just the most awesome tennis to watch and I truly loved watching women’s tennis at AO this year!
@@squidjames7735 I know but Sinner was super dialed in! He made a lot of unforced errors. But when it comes to Ben or Zverev the mental focus is lacking. They don’t know how to be as opportunistic as Sinner. First serves need to majorly improve. That’s what got Maddy the win, her serves were so much better than before, at least, somewhat consistent. I could go on and on
I'm UK born ,living in Australia 🇦🇺, and Australian citizen , I helped build the moving roofs for the Tennis 🎾 Centre, congratulations Madison on your 1st Grand Slam win 🏆, hoping you get many more 😀 ,cheers ❤❤ and all the best 👍 ❤ 😊
She is a very graceful person. She had a very difficult draw at the Australian Open. She had to beat really tough players during the whole tournament. She really deserved that trophy. Congratulations Madison!
I am sure this year she will lift another 3 more grand slam thropies left and become number 1 in the world if she plays like this way in the AO without injury
You are terrific Madison Keys! Love, love love you. So sincere, so honest, no chip on your shoulder! You make me so happy that an American SOMEBODY, whether it be a man or woman has FINALLY WON a slam out of country!! OMG!! Do I love you? You better believe it. What an inspiration for all the Americans to keep climbing!! Keep it up because we are the greatest country in the world and we best be showing it! You just showed it!!! Love it!!!
She defeated Collins, Svitolina, Rybakina, Iga, and Sabalenka in the same tournament. That's incredible. 100% deserved it. Congrats to AO Champion Madison keys. ♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🏆
Thank you Robin Roberts! Madison Keys is not New to this But TRUE TO This! I am so Happy for her. Always loved her Game! Yes, It was EARNED Not Given. Rankings are just numbers....She Is A Grand Slam Champion.
Madison you are inspiring on so many levels -- as an athlete, as a humble human and now, so well-deserved, as a champion. I was at that match screaming my head off! Congratulations, Maddy!
Congratulations to Madison Keys on winning the first Australian Open title! Underrated, but undeniable, what a great way on winning her first title. Well done, Madison! Hopefully more titles to come.
Happy for Madison! Minor fact correction: the last person to beat #1 and #2 en route to winning a major was not Serena, but Svetlana Kuznetsova in 2009 at the French Open, beating #2 Serena and #1 Safina.
So happy for Madison Keys. She is such a humble young lady. This Grand Slam crown is so richly deserved. Also, congratulations to her coach and new husband, Bjorn Fratangelo. He coached his new bride perfectly giving her just the right amount of confidence to get past this one final hurdle and become a Major Champion. Most of her wins were in 3 sets showing the true grit Madison needed to emerge with her first Grand Slam title. This is an early feel good story for 2025.
Bravo! What an inspiration! Won it! Earned it! Go MK! Been a long time since i found myself rooting and yelling and jumping all around while watching the match. Had to go back and watch the semi final, too.
Congratulations Madison the semi final and final were great tennis matches. Good on her for self awareness and going to therapy. After all, therapy is just a personal trainer for the mind. You could tell Madison really believed in herself with her body language between points. She was dialled in.
It's always fantastic to see a player finally realize their potential. MK has always had the weapons to go deep in slams, but was erratic at being able to tap into the zone when it was most needed. But that's exactly what she did, consistently, across the entire tournament (and the one before it, in Adelaide). Really interested to see if having the monkey off her back leads to a permanently higher level in future.
Madison Keys, Melbourne,Australia Tennis Open New Queen Champion 🏆🏅🚗🚨💙 Here's proof that with determination, strength, bravery and down to earth kind heart hearted attitude shows that women can do anything. We LOVE You Madison 💋 hello from australia 🌏 down under. and I love the reporters comments Self talk is so important, never be defeated. ⚽ 🎵🐠 ☀️f❤ 💚 ⭐ 💜 m
Madison... you have the biggest strokes on tour... period! Just use your strokes to construct points and you will continue to win! Now that you know what you are capable of... go for the top Madison! You have what it takes!!!!
The sound when the ball hits the racket is just incredible. So much power. She's gotten better about solid play and then unloading when she sees her chance for a winner. What a run at the AO.
Ms Keys said something we all can l earn from: play each point, not the game or the match. Focus on the now, get that done to your best. Worry about the next after dealing with the now.
Not a fan of Leftwing Legacy Propaganda media, but have always been a fan of Maddie Keys. Love watching her play. I think she hits the biggest ball on Tour with huge weapons. So awesome to see her play "measured" tennis for 7 matches, beating Grand Slam Champions Rybakina, Swiatek & Sabalenka!!! Insane accomplishment with the toughest draw in history, possibly? Her best has always been great. Will always remember when she was 14, beating world #2 & current Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams in a set during World Team Tennis! I think she bagled her.
@@Vahj-Loveuar Robin Roberts isn’t Madison Keys mother. What made you think she was? In fact, Madison Keys mother is a white woman. Madison Keys father is black. Madison Keys is of mixed race.
Nobody can ever say she had an easy draw or that she got lucky. She EARNED this. She beat the best players in the world and came out on top. Congrats Madi!
Maddys got to improve her serve if she wants to win another slam. Everything went her way in Sabalenka's and Iga's match...and shes lucky to have won them.
What a championships for Maddy. She took the long and hard road path and in the end found what she was looking for. Congrats to you and your team, Maddy!!
She is a class act in every way. beautiful soul.
Well stated!!!
She is absolutely.
As a long time tennis fan, i'm so proud to see Maddy finally realize her potential and win a Grand Slam at this point in her career. Well deserved!
So happy for her. I couldn’t watch because I was so nervous but I am a huge tennis fan.
This is one of the best tennis championship moments ever.. So happy for Madison and she deserves all of her accolades. Keep moving forward Miss Madison.. We are all so inspired and proud of you!
Such a great message: letting go of an expectation so you can be fully present in the moment

Madison beat Rybakina, Iga, then Sabalenka in the finals, that was insane..she deserves 2 trophies for overcoming that.
and seed number 10 Danielle Collins, who is no easy cookie
@@redsato3264 As well as Svitolina, no easy task. She knocked the whole wall down, broke barriers.

Maddy worked her ass off! She was totally in the zone!---With both Iggy and Sabby! Nice, Maddy!❤
In SF she was almost out
ŚWIĄTEK had match point 😊
Several, three match points….
In fact the final was the semifinal. Aryna is not tough to break, like Maddie showed, and Iga many times.
History turns around : like Osaka had match point in the last RG , and Iga went on to win the trophy ! 😅
Iga had one match point in the semifinal... not three.

Does Good Morning America realize she is the first American in years to win a slam out of our (US) country?????!!!!
Coco won the US Open a couple years ago
@@TR-zn2zhtrue, but it was on US soil (Flushing Meadows). Maddie is currently the latest American to win a GS outside of US.
Naomi Osaka, although playing officially for Japan, is absolutely an American.
It would have to be Serena who won the AO back in 2017, the last of her 23 Grand Slams, when she beat her sister Venus in the final.
American Sofia Kenin won the Australian Open in 2020.
Nothing happens before it’s time
