its great you used the mark hamill voice from the cartoon series, it suits the character lip sync perfectly. just make the smile a little bigger to make him perfect. but that is near perfect already.

And I actually like the license you took with the Joker's appearance, I think it is a very well done re-design of the look. :) Anyways, am I the only one who is reminded of Syndrome from The Incredibles when I watch this animation? Because for some reason his expressions remind me of Syndrome.
i think he did it all... when I manage to find enough "free time" to revisit this piece, I want to improve the hair (and make it react to movement), give him properly simulated cloth, and build the model out to include hands.

Wait...the Joker is voiced by Mark Hamill? :O I used to watch Batman when I was little, but I NEVER would have guessed it was Mark Hamill behind such a highpitched, insane character and voice. I think I have a newfound respect for Hamill, realizing he's more versatile than I realized. And listening to this clip again, I can totally TELL.
You should make the nose a little longer and hooked,put darker circles around his eyes, make the teeth a bit more yellow and a bit smaller, andmake his hair something like the animated one or Jack Nicholson's. But hey, that's just my opinion on what the Joker looks like. Overall it was....AWESOME!!!

The mesh is then turbo-smoothed (as a modifier) and the hair, etc is applied. Then, the face is set up with a series of morph objects, based on the techniques in Jason Osipa's book "Stop Staring" (which is written for Maya, but the techniques translate easily enough into Max).

Are the facial movements based on Gollum's "debate" with Smeagol in THE LORD OF THE RINGS? The sequence of expressions is almost exactly alike.
