I have a 2017 LTZ Texas Edition. 20” wheels leather, 5.3 engine, 6 speed. Almost matches the High Country. But if you can afford a High Country get one.
I just got a 2018 ltz. The only difference is the Engine size the high Country badging, sunroof, tire size 2`` and the high Country sticking and piping on the seats. Oh yeah the price. Both are beautiful trucks. Just my opinion
I have a 2016 LTZ that has everything the High Country has except the fancier leather interior. Is the High Country worth 10k more? Not in this lifetime....
@@_Bandido1911 looking at some at a dealership and in the 2017s/2018s, they have the same size engines - 5.3 V8. Both the LTs I looked at did too, and they were all 4x4. So in my opinion, I see zero difference except the electronic 4WD switching which I'm not a fan of.
I have a 2018 high country 6.2 the ltz 5.3 stands no chance it looks so much cleaner with the paint to match bumpers seats and all the little stuff so in my opinion yes if you can afford it I would I'm about to trade mine off for a brand new high country the so .uch better it's the denali of silverado
There is a 6.5 ft bed called standard bed or the normal bed size that most of these trucks come with which is 5.5 ft bed or called short bed. The 8ft beds are only on the Heavy dutys .
The big different is that High Country is quicker that the Ltz. 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds and the ltz with the same engine 6.9 seconds. Also the for GM the High Country is the high end edition of the 1500 silverado also the rims are bigger 20''.
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING A GOOD COMPARISO. I'M LOOKING TO BUY THE HIGH COUNTRY OR THE LTZ. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH. I WENT TO A DEALER AND THE ASKING PRICE WHERE AROUND THE SAME FOR BOTH. THE MOST EQUIPPED LTZ AND THE 5.3 HIGH COUNTRY BOTH 4X4. I THINK THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS TE SUNROOF.
+Pablo Carrillo I honestly think the only difference is the High Country badges. Lol but actually you get diffrent grill and diffrent rims. thats about it though.

1Scottieg you can get the 6.2 in the LTZ
My ltz has a 6.6L duramax and sunroof.

I agree. I have a 16 GMC 3500 Dually (Denali) cost less than the Silverado High Country.
They have the bigger motor 6.2
Is the engine the same ?

@@_Bandido1911 Although, I don't know if these used trucks were ordered that way, or if it's an option with no different cost. Sorry.
Well, is it or not? Geez anyone can walk around a truck and video it. Need details!!!

Look for 2018 6.2 pearl white
how big is the bed on these trucks
The 1500 are mostly short bed. The 2500 diesel long bed.

@@qualitylandscapeandhauling7710 short bed is 5.8 not 5.5 that's ford.
How do u make ur light blink like that
Andy Hernandez it’s just how they look when you record. They’re not really blinking.
If your going to spend that much just buy a diesel
Exactly..
Why
For what? Higher maintenance cost?
@@theeasternfront6436 engine last longer 🤷🏽♂️

emmanuel2001able they are geared they exact same with the exact same transmission, only cosmetic differences
emmanuel2001able false HC comes with 6.2
Ramiro Perez that’s an option on the high country the 6.2 isn’t standard for the higher country...you can also get the 6.2 in an LTZ

I have both. I will give away the HC for my LTZ wZ71 any day
The difference is the interior. You get an outdoorsy style interior in the high countey. It's chevyss version of the Denali.
P&M Productions high country has a bigger motor
Andrew Garner I’ll take the HC lol would love to have it
The GMC sierra ltz way better led lights all around
GMC doesnt make a Sierra LTZ
@@jettstreamadventures You are correct. The Sierra SLT is the equivalent of the Silverado LTZ.
GMC sierra SLT does not have tailgate up and down from from the button.
Talking would be helpful
No lol
Useless.
