Nice crop! I like the way the kids get in there and get it done! No complaining! Everyone helps!

Really enjoyed your video, but oh boy just watching youall has made me tired! LOL! It is great to have one of these old tractors and be able to work them around the farm. They are so much better then the new ones and about $15,000.00 cheaper! You really had a good harvest! Love seeing them spuds roll out the ground, and as for the cut potatoes, they still taste good fried in the pan! It is so good to see family work together, I dont know what we would do without the kids and our grandchildren. You was asking why your little girl looked like she was working faster then you and your son, I think maybe she was! LOL! Great family you got there, and I liked the end of the tape! Take care!

Looks like the young lady works for efficiency. Using her leg as a sack stand. Nice job all of you!

I am looking for one! I hope you got a chance to see the 2017 Update to this video. I tried a new technique that bought the potatoes out much better and most of the hoe work was to sort. I want a mechanical digger but one has not arrived yet so I am left with coming up with creative options with implements on hand. Another guy is bringing over a "potato plow" with a separator at the end of this season (2018), stayed tuned or I should say Subscribe so you don't miss that video. I appreciate your comment!

there is a way using a 1.25" bar stock mounted on your front cult. that you can mount a single shank on. on this shank you can put a middle buster the bigger the better. go right down the row to bust it open. Your Cub and my Super C have a lot of cult. parts in common. With this set up you can lay off your rows or bust them open. If interested in can send you photos of the set up. youll need a different style of tool clamp

+53superC I was experimenting mostly in lieu of getting a middle buster - using what I had on hand. Thanks, though, I have an old brochure that shows all the available attachments and I do know about the middle buster which you can get from Agri Supply still. I have a contact in NY that has shown me and has many of the attachments that were made for the cub. A couple good friends in Windham ME can get any Cub part or implement part that I need too. Another good resource is farmallcubs.com...

one good thing about these old farmalls, is that most of the cult. parts are interchangeable between models: cubs - M's i stopped farming in 81 when in went into the army, now 35 years later and a Super C and Cub , I'm digging thru the old junk piles and dad's barn and finding all kinds of left over sweeps and shanks stuff the we used back in the day

+53superC I have only had a farm tractor since 2013, the previous 20 years I did every thing by hand and tilled with a rototiller. Now, gardening is much easier even though I am using technology 60+ years old. Got to give a lot of credit to IHC for their great designs.
