For people that are coming here for same reason as me, to dislocate the base of fan, look for lock symbol and press it. Hold it and twist the base of fan clockwise at same time

I have the Hampton bay from Home Depot, which doesn’t seem as well made, and the instructions are indecipherable. But with your video, I got it!
Manufacturers, please hire someone who speaks decent English to write your instructions. Running the instructions through a translation program doesn’t work.

@nextpurchase great video and just curious, what is the best way to clean these types of fans? Do you have a video for this or any tips would be helpful and greatly appreciated! I have had mine for a year but need to probably clean mine now.
I usually use a hand duster and try to just do my best. Someone else on here might have found a better way to clean them. If you have drop a comment!

I just received mine today and it’s not not snapping in place.

It takes a little bit of adjustment to get it to work.
It takes some adjustment to get it to fit.
You have to exercise some gentle muscle to get it to snap into place. Affixing it to bottom is much easier.
How do you take the stand off?
It sounds like we need to do a de-assembly video.
