I have a 73. Left and right of the inner tail panel where the metal is connected to the drop off panel on mine is all rusted. I have no idea if that is something I can purchase or have to make my own. Any suggestions
I never found a source for those replacement panels. they might come with a new lower (inner) valance but I'm not sure. I was lucky enough to have a crumpled but otherwise usable filler panel. Sorry I couldn't point you in a useful direction. 🥲
Confused on your spot? Welds you mentioned you have to drill from the top, but first you're grilling a pilot hole from the bottom. Is the pilot hole being drilled into the center of the weld? Basically just drilling a thinner hole on the bottom than a thicker hole on top?
I'm loving these videos. However, you're a fool to be doing all that cutting and grinding without proper eye protection. You obviously don't know what a steel sliver in the eye feels likes. Too bad you'll need to find out before you get proper eye protection on your face.
Just thought I would drop you a line. Nice progress and thanks for posting.
Thanks!
thanks for sharing can't wait to see more

I wanna see how you level & square a car! :D

Me too like to see how you level a car. I need to replace my trunk pan on my car
I'll work on a short vid for that.
