  • basically, all mutation except hardcore.
    rifle start: start every levels (currently bugged, it will reset sometimes. i will remake later once it fix.) with only AR, fist, gun parts, medkits & permanent upgrades(max hp upgrade, weapon upgrade etc.)
    fresh start: reset everything. basically NG.
    harsh invasion: enemies will have fully upgraded gear from very start, instead of progressively stronger.
    item scarcity: 2/3 less ammo pickup and 50% less health/armor pickup.
    i will not count the milestones in this because it is infinite. and i will use the weapon kit as well because i want to try them out. i forgot to turn off the checkpoint save. but this run is segmented by area by area. so "no upgrade" mean only for weapon upgrade, because there're noway to reset my health upgrade.
    where to begin with this game?... let's just say every major concerns that i had with this game comes true...
    AR really has no place in this game, at all. because it was out perform by litterally everything. from damage to consistencies to ranges. it deals 2 more damage compare to SMG which has the lowest damage per shot in the game. and AR has almost half of SMG's rate of fire, therefore less stun chance. and both of them have about the same accuracy in close range. if i'm not playing with item scarcity and AR start, i'd just ditch AR the moment i got SMG, because both of them share the same ammo and you will have tons of ammo for these 2 guns, and SMG's spread is tighter than you'd think. and long range AR is just out performed by a fucking shotgun of all things, and a pistol, and DMR, and nailgun, and plasma. and it is inconsistent as well, sometimes use 1/4 of a mag to kill, sometimes 3/4, sometimes 2/4. using AR, it's like using bizon in CS:GO(CS2 now). it fucking sucks and why should i use it when there're lots of better alternatives? in fact it worse, because it halves the mag AND lower the fire rate. doing this run just doing AR a ton of favors. to be honest the more i shit talk AR, the more i felt like i am talking shit to pistol in doom, so i'll stop. for now.
    the shotgun has been improved from the demo. kinda. because shotgun can one shot some fly guy from 15m away and cannot even kill a grunt in 5m sometimes. and slide is still interrupt everything from reload to pumping a shotgun now. slide is just awful overall, there's no way to cancle it while sliding. and the slide's hit detection is worse than demo, if your slide is slightly off axis to the side instead of direct hit, it will whiff. you have to fix it by hit them with a melee after the slide. and while i'm doing that, i got shotgun to the face. it sucks.
    and you're still stuck at aiming while you're shooting a gun even you let go of the aim button, you have to stop shooting to make it transittion to hipfire and vice versa. maybe i didn't explain properly in the demo video. this video is what i am talking about.

    another thing, why are they cut the converting turret to your side out of the game? turret is already rare in this game. i just don't see the point of doing that, aside for "balancing" selaco must fall difficulty, which they spam tons of turret in there. it just dumb.
    and that's it for what i really hate the game. the rest are.... fine. really good in fact.
    also, you have to come back to this area again to get the 4th upgrade. i will do it before the last area.

    Not being able to switch to zoom/ads while firing really is weird, got me hurt a couple times too, and yeah, the pistol and smg do what the rifle do, but better. Maybe if it was like Halo or something, where you can carry limited weapons, the Rifle would shine as a jack of all trades, but since you can carry the specialized weapons always, the rifle does nothing, not to mention that without zoom, it sucks.
