It is a very hard language to learn. My son was taught Italian at a private school until it closed just about the time he was to be a freshman in high school. He said it is a very hard language to comprehend and learn. But since you are Portuguese (I assume you are), it may not be so very hard for you since Italian and Portuguese are both derived from Latin.
