It was at my mom’s funeral, too. It was our song. I could never remember the name of this song as a kid, so I said “from now on, I’m going to call this song “that one song!” and you’ll know what I mean.” So as a kid I’d always ask “mom, can you play that one song?”
When it played at her funeral, it was one of 2 times in life I’ve seen my dad break down crying- the other when the dog “he never wanted” died in my arms.
Forever grateful for this piece of art and I’m glad there’s others out there that associate it with their late parent, it’s a beautiful tribute!

If the letter was an email, the first text to speech was invented in the 50s, but that was only to labs, however, technology progresses quite a bit in a few decades. If the letter was on paper...there are other people to read it for him. I fail to understand why you're putting so much into arguing with the original poster about how Andrea read the letter, but I'm willing to discuss it.

@Kate Attenboro i know you mean well, but that's a pretty cruel trade-off. My 11.5yo granddaughter is going blind, and every night she cries. She's doesn't want to go to sleep because sleep is dark, and she's terrified of the dark world she'll live in one day. i have no truly good answer for her when she asks me why she has to be blind. i'm not meaning to criticize your comment, i'm just sharing our experience.

I've just started listening to opera music and after learning who Pavarotti is, I was sad how he's already passed. And now seeing this guy growing old made me sad once again.
When I was young I started with Franco Corelli and through the decades I loved his music. Also, Pavarotti and Andrea was my other favorites that could get me through rough times.
