It perfectly captured that snowboarding is way more than the performance/tricks side of it that we sometimes get stuck to. Nonetheless all I could think as I was taking the chair up was how grateful I am for snowboarding for how much joy and happiness it has brought to my life. Bryan said it best, even on a sub optimal early season east coast day I remain in awe of snowboarding.
So many sick boards in this quiver! Need them all… Cannon, Slash, Dinghy, and Fintwin are calling to me. Awesome film, keeps the stoke alive. Loved the black and white perspective. 32 seasons sliding sideways and hopefully another 32+. It’s definitely psycho addictive!
This video made me fall in love with snowboarding all over again and appreciate the joy of the pow. I wish I had a big floaty swallowtail this week in Finland!
It was really enjoying and informative movie for me as you have used some historical video clips in it which gave me some more knowledge about snowboarding Thank you Nitro Snowboards for pushing us more into snowboarding culture And also that cab in chapter 4 was is my dream cab hope one day I will buy it and travel the world for snowboarding ❤
Growing up in Hawaii as a surfer and then moving to the states and picking up snowboarding, it was great hearing his take on snowboarding/surfing/skating and how snowboarding really gives you the opportunity to "choose" your own place and line on the mountain. Also loved Hayato's part where he talks about feeling connected to the mountain when flowing through a turn. I've never ridden a Nitro board yet, but would love to at some point! Anyway, loved the imagery, music, and storytelling in this film. Reminds me of the surf films I watched growing up.
