  • Rollo the Viking was exiled from Norway and known as "The Walker," as he was banished from his homeland, and began wandering in search of a new home. Rollo's wanderings led him to the Frankish shores, where he negotiated the historic Treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte, earning land and power while bringing peace to the region.
