I get a feeling the number of bikes outnumber the number of people many times over. Even if motorcycles were to stop being produced we would still have enough to keep us going for a 100 years. Most of these bikes are fun toys more so than transport. We're sold on a dream rather than anything else. Most people get bored of a sports bike and more end up back here than anywhere else.

Mine got its first service, now the Beast is ready to unleash, only upon leaving the dealership I noticed an issue. The steering seems stiffer, the dealer says they didn't alter it as it was OK, could be the front tyre is a bit soft but why only after service? I'll get to the bottom of it.

Actually after that visit I've been looking at MT01 videos. An unusual and quiet rare 1700cc Yamaha.
Hard to imagine what the dealer would have done on a first service to stiffen the steering?? Normally just oil, filter, diagnostic and bolts check.
Worth just checking all the cable runs are free around the steering head especially if the tanks been lifted.

@@Banditmanuk Ah, I see the MT 01 caught a lot of people's attention including my own. It's also plain to see where Huskvarna got their inspiration from for the Vitpillen. I also noticed that although it has a pillion seat any pillion is likely to end up with severely roasted thighs. Upon investigation I did notice the bunches of coiling, curly cables going from the handlebars down through openings in the fairing were rubbing, catching but also front tyre pressure is 38.5 instead of 42 psi, that could be the main problem. Certainly those cables need supporting so the don't rub against the fairing. I should be able to get out today, put some air in the tyres and now I know where to look for friction 👍

@@Banditmanuk @TOMSTC rides an awesome example of the MT01. I'd never heard of it before seeing it on his channel.
