- Tangier city is the last point of the African continent and almost touches the European continent. We can see Spain and Gibraltor from Tangier city in Morocco. I am exploring the city of IBN Battuta in Morocco. It's one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen in the world.

And there were always Arab tribes living in Morocco as well as all over North Africa since before Islam came and became powerfull in 7th Century.
North Africa was also the place of the Phoenicians and Carthege was a Phenocian civilisation but they didn't call themselves North Africans, or even Phoenicians neither, The were Carthegean and Romans called them Punic as in the Punic Wars, Punic is Taken from Pheonic. Carthege wasblocatedbwhere Modern day Tunisia sits.
So Arabs were living in Maroc way before Islam; please try and understand, thank u very much.

I'm sure you already know why there are many tourists in Tangiers. Its really easy to get to from Spain via ferry and Ryan Air sell very cheap tickets to Tangiers! There is constant flow of tourists from Europe to Tangiers. You probably didn't get bothered too much by sellers but when I'm with you're gora brother, man it's another story. I get him to wear kurta with jeans and I wear shalwar Kameez then we get a little peace. Seriously we get over charged massively.
It's a beautiful city.
Take it easy and look after yourself.
