I feel like a "unique" kewl guy knowing this band.. people who are opened minded enough say it gets em' real emotional. Especially this song,it makes me proud that I know actual good music. It's a damn shame they ain't as big as they deserve to be. This music? Is very emotional,it hits the heart strings where it hurts. Especially when he says "look at my face...DO YOU SEE GOD?" Followed up by riffs that only mimic the feeling PAIN and SUFFERING. I don't wanna say "that's my life"(that would be cringe) but it does bring me to tears with how emotional this song is.. the complexity of anger yet sorrow reflected in loss.

Still love this since day one 💥🤝 i wish this band had more of the recognition they deserve. Each album is magnificent in its own way and tells a story and creates an atmosphere thats rare to find elsewhere

Virgin Black is on retrospective right now but i await hopefully for the time the universe speaks to us all through their music again. Sesca is working on a project called Spiine from Xenophyr of Ne Obliviscaris. I correspond with Rowan and Sesca occassionally through email. Rowan's sister setup a gofundme to help financially support them in their difficult situation.

Indeed. Hope may be the last anchor, when dwindling faith for something you've been promised years ago - and held on to accordingly, at times trembling - still hasn't yielded its fruits yet. Hope may show, in the end, that the fool that lost everything and yet pushed, weary at times and through pain, closer to God, wasn't a fool after all.
